Summary:
In the Texas Hill Country, Diane Sutton, while ignoring her own health issues, takes care of her son August, who has cerebral palsy, and her husband, who is in the early stages of Alzheimer's. Overburdened, she hires Noah, a local handyman, to build a wheelchair ramp up the front steps to the family home. While he's working, Noah strikes up a friendship with August causing a ripple effect in the lives of the Suttons and himself.
