I really think yuva is mani ratnam's best film till date. The reason behind it is - 1) The way the screenplay is presented and moves the story of the film. 2) The technical strength of the film is the best one made in bollywood. 3) The I really think yuva is mani ratnam's best film till date. The reason behind it is - 1) The way the screenplay is presented and moves the story of the film. 2) The technical strength of the film is the best one made in bollywood. 3) The film has very good performances by the entire cast. 4) The action scenes are damme strong & worthy to see again & again. Then what yuva lacks or what is wrong about it? 1) Most of the audience doesn't like the way the bengali backdrop is set by mani in its true form, hence the strength becomes the unlikliness for some people. 2) The language of lallan(abhishek) is just like a bengali boy who speaks hindi, he did that well but again it difficult to understand. 3) The way the film goes out explaining all the 3 different characters in 3 segments its speed is fast for some to catch up with the script, that is why they say "yeh sabh kyon ho raha hai! teeno characters are not set well" again the stylish pace becomes a problem. 4) The major problem yuva is not an entertaining film like Main hoo naa! since it doesn't have a commedy element. The entire film is straight to the point even the songs of ajay devgan do not serve as a break instead they move the story further. Mani's story telling becomes a problem. What is yuva good at - #if u are bored of repetitive films; love triangles, horrors, action same stories, & you really need a offbeat film of its own kind. which may or may not have entertainment part but makes you to think then watch yuva. # Abhishek bachchan's performance is the high altitude of the film. He steals the show from ajay devgan, & has certainly portrayed lallan's character very well without copying his dad BigB. He deserves an award. # A R Rahman's music picturised on full screen inside a theatre sound. which doesn't have any other match today. Let people give you their opinions, don't bother about their have your own by watching yuva its the film of the next generation - Leenesh Uike. leeneshuike7@rediffmail.com Expand
