All the male characters in the film feel underdeveloped while the sisters' experiences feel a little disjointed, giving people a complicated feeling about the whole process.

Don't let the nepotism turn you off, this is one of the year's true sleeper hits. Ostensibly about Izzy's relationships over the year, the so-called "Spectacular Men" are really a means to an end for a touching and charming story about family.

Filmmaking debut of Lea Thompson accompanied by her daughters, Madelyn Deutch and Zoey Deutch.
Nothing remarkable to highlight but keeps things in a consistent rhythm and tone and that's to a certain extent praiseworthy.
