This is literally the worst movie I have ever seen. Save your time and do something else. It's 1.5h that you will never get back.

SarahLeighton Meester plays a new mom who slips away from her hubby & baby in London for a weekend in Croatia with her best friend (Christina Wolfe). Things go bad pretty quickly and she finds herself embroiled in a murder investigation. Sarah Alderson wrote the screenplay based on her novel. The hurried twists might have been more acceptable in longer form, but here they just make the plot seem thin. The pieces of the mystery come together without much surprise and absolutely no tension. There was potential for a solid little thriller, but director Kim Farrant never builds it that way, resulting in a rather bland undertaking. On the plus side, the locations make Croatia look attractive. Expand

A mystery for beginners and in a very bad way.
I don't know who else would fall for such oversimplified and deficiently structured enigma.

I don't know who else would fall for such oversimplified and deficiently structured enigma.

Some professional reviews pointed out Leighton Meester's performance as one of the positive aspects of this story, but I never found any reason why she deserves the glorified mention. Especially when her distressed face makes her look like she's constipated, and that happens far too much here.

Just terrible.
