Creepy, funny, and a great comeback for M. Night. he should do the low budget horror movies. The Kids steal the show, the found footage makes sense and the grandma is creepy. I highly recommend this movie to people who are fans of horror movies.

I think it is a good blend between comedy and Horror. The cast really did well, mainly Ed Oxenbould was amazing in this movie. As the movie is a blend don't look at it as either comedy or Horror.

Intense, smart and beautiful in it's simplicity, "The Visit" is a grand return from M. Night Shyamalan and proves that he is a master of the thriller genre.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this film. It's elegantly told, and has an awesome twist. Nothing about this film is cheap, and the kids are really impressive actors.

It's not Shyamalan's best film, but its a solid return from the director.

This film is a solid performance and underappreciated. Too bad the writer/director's early success seems to overshadow all his later work in eyes of many, but this might be his best film since The Sixth Sense.

An extremely fun movie. The comedy hits hard, and the scares are well-executed. Solid performances, and a solid script prove that M. Night Shyamalan still has stuff to offer.

Poor acting but brilliantly written
There were a few actors in specific that were very bad such as the boy and girl, but the concept is brilliant and there are some major plot twists.

This movie is definitely worth seeing. It is my fave of the found footage films I think since Blair Witch 1. I think the movie made me partially blind though. I never want to see old lady butt like that ever again. I am scarred for life.

Another old fashioned thrilling movie where Hansel & Gretel meets it's not your real family members. If you want one of the thinking Halloween movies this season this is it.

With a solid script, some genuinely funny and creepy moments, and great characters, The Visit proves that Shyamalan hasn't been completely lost in the sea of garbage that is his filmography.

A magnificent blend of Comedy and Horror. This film delivers some surprisingly amazing suspense, along with some tongue and cheek humor, while a great feel of found footage horror.

It has faults, but many good parts. It was super scary at times, but other parts felt cheap. The plot twist was great, and was the best part. It is worth a watch.

Welcome Back Mr. Shymalan
Visit may not be perfect, But it’s a satisfying return to form.

The visit will definitely deliver some satysfying chills, but anyone looking for a proper horror movie might find the visit a little dull.

Although this movie isn't fantastic, it is unquestionably enough. It is original, frightening, and entertaining enough, and sometimes enough is enough.

It's a good movie. It's scary and the plot is believable enough, which is quite rare for horror movies. Also, the two kids are likable enough, not too stupid but not superheroes either.

"The Visit" may be similar to Shyamalan's past few misfires in that it's comically over-the-top and filled with hilarious camp. This time, however, it feels a whole lot more like Shyamalan's in on the joke with us.

"The Visit" has some horrifying thrills and effective tension throughout, and two kid actors that really played their part well. This is, by far, the best Shyamalan movie in years.

Some parts boring, the raping was repetitive and dull, seemed like it was trying to be modern, the camera shouldn't be hd, that ruins the scares, but entertaining, and there was one scene that made me want to scream

Besides a few memorable scenes, the Visit isn't that scary or creative of a film. I guess this pathetic director is on the right track after his horrific stretch of disastrous films.

I do not bought the idea. Which kind of kid doesn't recognize its own grandparents?

Shaymalan has finally snapped. The result is a cliched bird flipping to those who(justifiably) wronged him and bashed all his previous work. On the bright side, this movie would make a good goosebumps episode.

Man..this has got to be one of the worst movies I have rented in quite some time folks. I kept watching..waiting... for something..What I don't know. I expect to see this movie in Walmart's 99 cents bin very soon.

Really stupid and pointless. I found myself bored and waiting for the movie to start, but in the end, it never actually started. A very disappointing movie.
