Charming. I expected to be put off by the concept but found the relationship to be warm, charming, and absolutely funny. Dialogue, acting, and the scenes were well done, convincing , with real humor . One of the best films of the year for Charming. Totally preposterous - but tou buy into it totally. Laugh out loud funny, and also very sweet. A complicated resolution makes it more satisfying. Watch for a dreadful American version in a few years.

A little silly and predictable, but the movie is undeniably funny. A great choice if you are in the mood for a light comedy. I found this to be a fine follow up to both 'The Dinner Game' and 'The Closet'. The former is A little silly and predictable, but the movie is undeniably funny. Esse filme poderia ter sido muito mais do que entregou se tivesse saído da caricatura, ou ao menos se tivesse a abraçado de vez.

Eu realmente não tenho saco para adultos que agem feito crianças, e é precisamente o que temos aqui: famosos que são amantes, mas para passarem despercebidos, contratam um manobrista (The valet) para que este se passe pelo amante da mulher e com isso afastar os boatos.
É tudo um tom acima: a comoção e admiração à atriz, as caras e bocas do motorista, o ator canastrão, as festas.
E como o filme é daqueles que faz questão de passar uma imagem para a família tradicional norte-americana, a mocinha vai aos poucos percebendo a singeleza do convívio familiar, das coisas simples da vida, valorizando momentos mais do que status, esse tipo de mensagem que soaria muito bem para uma menina de 15 anos.
Ou eu estou subestimando o potencial das pessoas adultas ou simplesmente o filme é sobre adultos desmiolados que percebem a vida para além dos holofotes muito tarde. É meio descompensado ver a atriz hollywoodiana cercada por doradores babões, acompanhada de detetives (dois, por sinal) duvidosos.
E claro, ao final, ambos conseguem extrair da vida aquela típica mensagem clean, eliminando seus relacionamentos tóxicos e se entregando a uma amizade suporte.
Pela artificialidade do roteiro, é um filme esquecível, mas vale por sua intenção, sempre muito correta, justa e sincera.… Expand
