The Story of Us is one of those movies, where the title tells you everything you need to know about the movie. I am by no means a fan of these sappy romantic comedies, however I do sometimes go out of my comfort zone for a movie that has aThe Story of Us is one of those movies, where the title tells you everything you need to know about the movie. I am by no means a fan of these sappy romantic comedies, however I do sometimes go out of my comfort zone for a movie that has a great cast. Bruce Willis is easily one of my favorite actors and having seen almost everything he's done, I rented this. What can I say? It's the story about meeting your soul mate, getting married, and the ups downs associated with family life. There are no surprises and there is nothing special here. I didn't find the movie particularly funny and even at 96 minutes, it still felt very long. If you're into these sappy romantic comedies, you might like it, you might not. I was just indifferent too it. The Story of Us didn't impress me, but I didn't hate it either.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. hic de bahsedildigi gibi romantik komedi olmayan film. bastan sona son derece sikintili, bastan sona evliligin dagilma asamasini anlatiyor, araya hos bir kac flashback koyunca bilmiyorum romantik mi oluyor, ama komedi hic olamiyor...

bruce willis, butun film boyunca, hastalikta saglikta, yine o illet edici yamuk siritisiyla biseyler yapiyor; michelle pfeiffer tuhaf bir hoslugu olan bir hatun ama o kadar...

karsi cikilacak bazi noktalar olsa da, sonlarda, m. pfeiffer'in monologunun oldugu sahne oldukca iyi.

Rob Reiner bir Hitchcok oyunu gibi bu filminde de yer almıştır

bruce willis, michelle pfeiffer’dan ayrılmadan önce: içimizden birinin çıkıp bunun saçma olduğunu, birbirimizi sevdiğimizi, bütün çiftlerin bunu yaşadığını(ve üstesinden geldiğini), birbirimize bir şans daha vermemiz gerektiğini söyleme zamanı gelmedi mi şeklinde güzel bir konuşma yapar. burda bitmek üzere olan ilişkideki son çırpınışları,ilişkiyi sürdürmek için gerekli olan enerjinin tükenmesini, güzel birşeyler söylemeye çalışırken sıçıp batırma durumunu güzel bir şekilde irdeler. bunun üzerine michelle pfeifier kayıtsız kalarak arabadan iner.
filmin vurucu sahnelerindendir. sadece bu bölümü için filmi baştan sona beş altı kez izleyenler vardır.
