Nikolaj and a fairly solid cast deliver a decent mystery-thriller that keeps it short, sweet and to the point. The Silencing is an adequately suspenseful mystery thriller, but it underutilises its own antagonist. Nevertheless, the plot twists and climax make it an interesting watch.
