Really not much to this movie. Critic who said it was "kiddie-pool deep" hit the mark. Seems like a made-for-TV movie, the Lifetime channel. Hard to believe it was even nominated for an Oscar.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i decided to watch this movie based on a clip of the extended tracking shot. which was wonderful, btw. i was on board with the plot until the interrogation scene. even with my unfamiliarity of argentine police procedure, i knew it was ridiculous. there was a point after the murderer is set free to be part of a death squad the story should've ended. but it went on until every thread was followed, needlessly. not a waste of time, by any means, but an oscar winner? weak.… Expand
