I'm not a movie critic or anything, but I really enjoyed this movie. Some people say it's just an American copy of a German movie. I haven't seen the other movie myself, so that's not going to influence what I think. Most of the movie criticsI'm not a movie critic or anything, but I really enjoyed this movie. Most of the movie critics are blasting it because they call it "idiot comedy" or they felt a lack of empathy in the film.

I whole-heartedly disagree.

The movie is about three kids who all have socially-alienating diseases. Vincent's portrayal of Tourettes is hit & miss but it's the best I've seen so far (I have tourettes so I know what I'm talking about. The actor's motor tics are surprisingly realistic but his verbal tics are inconsistent and exaggerated). The film seemed to me a thoughtful inspection of how humans alienate each other by hiding their problems and pretending like they don't exist. The three main characters are rejected by society because they wear their problems on their sleeves. As the movie progresses, the characters can't accept each other's problems until they accept their own. The movie has a very honest presentation and a mix of humor, feel-good, and sadness. Everyone I watched it with loved it and most of us teared up a bit during several parts. Maybe that makes us all idiots, idk. I just wanted to say I thought this movie was really enjoyable and doesn't deserve the ratings it has.… Expand

La película no es del todo mala, tiene buenas actuaciones y una trama coherente y algo entretenida, lo malo es que cae en el cliché, y al final parece que magicamente se solucionan todos los problemas con un discurso inspirador y un abrazo.
