An underrated, fun guilty pleasure of a sequel to the underrated cult classic thriller Swamp Thing. This tongue-in-cheek sequel is a lot campier and more lighthearted than the first movie. The acting is unbelievably horrible and the dialogue is just as bad with the exceptions of Dick Durock, Louis Jordan, and Sarah Douglas, but the special effects are amazing and are an improvement on the previous film. There are some HUGE plot holes and a lot of loud explosions. This is your typical, run-of-the-mill 1980s monster flick. Don’t watch it expecting it to be unique or Oscar-worthy, just watch it and accept it for what it truly is: A fun, simple, campy, cheesy, over-the-top, loud, action-packed 80s film that doesn’t take itself too seriously. I wish this sequel had a much longer runtime, though.… Expand
