The rest ofThis movie is trash, the only things that I would save are photography and direction, both definitely not bad, mostly in some scenes(the first one and the one of the newspapers that create valak's face), even if less in others. The rest of this sort of horror movie is just awful, There isn't even a scene that is really scary, also the characters are badly written, indeed, they are just useless. The CGI **** too, but it’s the least of the problems with this thing that unfortunately will earn much more money than it deserves. Expand

Either put Wan back in the directors chair or cancel this franchise, it hasn’t been good since 2016 if we’re being honest.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Very weak! I don't understand these reviews saying the movie is wonderful. Did you watch the same movie as me? The scares are predictable, the script is bad and the film has no purpose. If this movie was so ridiculous, what to expect from the supposedly upcoming movie, according to the post-credits? Expand

Gave it a 6 overall since I like it just a little more than the first which I gave a 5 rating. Expand

This is the repetitive sequence this movie recycles from the very beginning to its conclusion, offering nothing new to the genre or to its franchise, which has been stuck in the same formula since ''The Conjuring 2.''
As a result, it quickly becomes exhausting.

It looks more polished than the first one, that's essentially the only improvement I found in this disappointing sequel compared to its predecessor.
However, it's challenging to believe this one cost between 13 and 15 million dollars more, even accounting for inflation.

I really enjoyed this movie. Definitely better than the first one. Some of the scares were ruined by the trailers but they are still creative.

Very creepy at times, but it never really goes into depth. Both in storytelling and the settings in the film. It is and remains all quite superficial. It is not a worthy successor to part 1, but ultimately entertaining.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I really liked the first The Nun (2018) and I call myself a big fan of the Conjuring Franchise, the Nun II for me was really good. I liked the Nun-investigator plot, I really liked the character of Sister Irene and now they confirmed what we all thouhgt when they cast Taissa Farmiga (sister of Vera Farmiga), she is related to Lorraine. The characters were on point. Specially Irene and Storm. Maybe it was just me but I noticed a femminst vibe in the movie that I really enjoyed, beacuse it wasn't preachy. That was nice, just two young nuns with a lot of adrenaline and faith. Bonnie Arons is amazing.

2 things are a "bad thing" for me:
- I needed more Valak or goat demon. - There was only one teacher in that school? (plot holes)
