This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This movie is billed as a thriller, but it isn't. It could have been if the event that happens at the end had happened an hour earlier. It is slow and moderately depressing. Basically, an old guy gets a crush on a beautiful woman who moves in next door. Here comes the SPOILERS. I don't give away the whole movie, but I discuss a portion in the middle.

The husband who works from home, hears the next door neighbor, the attractive woman and her husband fighting. Later he asks the woman if she's OK. She confesses her husband gets violent and that this is why she doesn't want to have children. Next thing you know she's kissing the old guy. After a short make-out session he leaves.

Few days later. The old guy hears the woman having a fight with her husband again, and hears something smash and a scream, he goes over and into their house and intervenes. The husband claims his wife tripped and broke a lamp. The wife says that's what happened. But we know this is not true.

When the old guy goes home and tells his wife about it - yes the old guy is married - his wife perceives that her husband has a crush on this woman so she kicks him out of the house. That seemed really extreme to me and not believable. When the guy goes to tell the woman next door that he's leaving his wife, the woman says she is also leaving her husband.

But the guy is only one to leave. The woman ends up staying with her husband, gets pregnant, and tells the old guy - when he returns to his house to collect some some of his things - that things have improved with her husband.

A short time later - at 1 hour and 29 minutes (almost the end of the movie) - all hell breaks loose and the movie finally feels like a movie. But it took way too long. What happens at the end should have happened at the end of act 1 about an hour earlier.

So, a very slow, mildly depressing movie that gets where it needs to go an hour too late, and cuts off and ends without any kind of closure.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This movie is a wasted night. Feel bad for the actors because they played the parts very well but just what a terrible script... Made for a lame movie about a guy who can't go to a bar and can't respect other people's lives. Please tell me there are more creative scripts in hollywood than this.… Expand

It's a nonsense movie from 2017. I think a robot played instead of William Fichtner in the movie. Because the man exhibits mechanical movements throughout the movie. Also, I watched the man's nostrils for an hour and a half, whatever his posture is. As for the film outside the nostrils. There's a young couple moving in next door. The man passes out when he sees the young woman. Trying to get close to him. The husband of the woman is also a type who always resorts to violence. Then, while the man wants to take care of the young girl, his own family falls apart, etc. Etc. The movie is so heavy that it makes you faint. I didn't like it at all and I don't recommend it at all. But the girl is beautiful.… Expand
