Summary:
The Love We Make, a film directed by Albert Maysles and Bradley Kaplan, follows Paul McCartney as he journeys through the streets of New York City in the aftermath of the World Trade Centre’s destruction. Chronicling the planning and performance of “The Concert for New York City,” the benefit concert that took place less than six weeks after the attacks, the film also features performances and backstage moments with other performers and actors including David Bowie, Steve Buscemi, Eric Clapton, President Bill Clinton, Sheryl Crow, Leonardo DiCaprio, Harrison Ford, Mick Jagger, Jay Z, Billy Joel, Elton John, Stella McCartney and Keith Richards.
