Moving on to the rest, I can only say negative things. I don’t mean this with an ounce of malice toward anyone involved. I’ll try to be brief but here we go: The premise makes no sense. Why are they in the room? Is it reality TV? A science experiment? It just seems like a bad use for the time, the facilities, and the money. It would be an unwatchable TV show. The movie was all the highlights strung together and even that lacked excitement. It would make an unethical and uninformative experient, and what lab has that kind of money to waste? There just seems to be no reason for this place to exist. The characters, while competently portrayed illustrate zero chemistry. It doesn’t seem like they know each other, much less love each other. The burden of being in the room sets in way too quickly, the entire thing would have been more believable and watchable if there had been a contrast between the “honeymoon” period at the start and the darker times to come. Speaking of the darker times, most of those are so dark because the gf character is a massively cliche female character. She’s illogical, petty, untrusting, greedy, and selfish. Yes this isn’t meant to represent all women, but try layering good and bad traits, it will give the character dimension and come across less like it was written with a misogynistic world view. Finally, and honestly there is way more to say, I’ll focus on the final story arc and conclusion. The end portion of the story is anticlimactic and the actual ending made me laugh out loud, and it wasn’t meant to be funny. In conclusion, I’m sorry if any one who was involved with the production of this movie reads this review. It’s just my honest opinion. The challenges won, on this one, unfortunately. Expand

His actors are the ones who manage to sell what they are allowed to offer, but even when they do try, The Immaculate Room is as banal as what it tries to criticize.

What a turd. The actors are "ok" most of the time. But the characters that they play are incredibly annoying. The choices they make are stupid and unbelievable. Which is almost believable because of how dumb the characters are written. TowardWhat a turd. The actors are "ok" most of the time. But the characters that they play are incredibly annoying. The choices they make are stupid and unbelievable. Which is almost believable because of how dumb the characters are written. Toward the end, I laughed out loud several times at moments that were supposed to be dramatic. There will probably be some professional critics that say it's smart and amazing because they are afraid of being accused of "not getting it." Don't waste your time. I checked the movie's running time almost as often as the characters checked the countdown clock. Expand
