The Imitation Game has all the key moments to make it to the Oscars. The heart and soul of this movie is Alan Turing whose brilliant work saved millions of lives in WW2. The actors give in depth performances to make this an award winning movie.

Surely the best movie in 2014. Unbelievable acting from Benedict Cumberbatch in leading and Keira Knightley in supporting role. This movie must be awarded with Oscar.

A predictably well made and acted British World War II drama. It stays on course not taking much liberty to do anything exciting cinematic wise, but it is a fascinating story that deserved to be told.

'The Imitation Game' cracks the code with a genuinely heartfelt performance by Benedict Cumberbatch and a subtle approach that honours it's fact based story.

A must see movie and one of the best of all of 2014. Suspense will keep your attention for the entire 114 minutes. There was not a peep from anyone in the theater during the showing.

This movie is made of plastic, and builds on cliche to achieve perfect mediocrity. There is scarcely any content and history is a joke. The characterization of Turing is particularly pathetic.

This is one of those movies where I wanted it to be on a grander stage since the story is very important to the overall war. All in all it was a good movie that engages you in the material guided by a great score.

Well made and entertaining, believable characters and good acting. Plot is fine and develops nicely. Nothing of annoyance or that looks/feels odd (I am not familiar with the historical facts though).

The Imitation Game is the most important movie of 2014. This is a rare movie in which everyone must see this movie (unfortunately is on the limited release) and is lead by a flawless lead performance by Benedict Cumberbatch.

It might be my favorite ... This biopic of Alan Touring is a good find ...

Benedict Cumberbatch. Wow this movie is great with some awesome ideas. Benedict actually made the movie look so realistic with his acting and of course his British accent. The Imitation Game is sure one his best roles of all time in my opinion.

they should have got idris elba to play turing in this film. elba would have been able to capture the nuances that cumberbatch failed to in his portrayal of alan turing

Terrific biopic from Morten Tyldum. Benedict Cumberbatch gives us an emotional performance, and Keira Knightly and Matthew Goode hold their own. A satisfying and triumphant ending tops it off.

If you want to watch a fictional movie with good production values and cast, but which has very little to do with the real Alan Turing, this is the movie for you.
