Summary: The Heyday of the Insensitive Bastards is a collection of testimonies to the misconceived, miscalculated pursuit of happiness in contemporary America. The characters of this world struggle so tragically to distance themselves from their beginnings, they find themselves a long way from nowhere. Based on the novel by Robert Boswell, this cast of characters depict how isolated each of them really is, and how alone we’ve learned to become.
