I could say wonders about this movie, but I won't because it isn't a wonder, after watching the Original The Grudge this movie is nothing but an improved one copying the original. Nothing new, no new explanations.

It was scary at times, I'll give them that, but most of them are not logical. The film is mostly filled with jump-scares without building up any suspense. Ultimately, a disappointment.

The wooden acting isn't the best, the cheesy dialogue doesn't quite cut it at times and the film itself is quite short but The Grudge (at times) is quite the frightful movie. >:-)

Very well made and effective horror movie. Takashi Shimizu did a great job as director. Sarah Michelle Gellar had a very believable performance in this movie. The only problem was that at times it could take a while for something to happen.

Not the greatest film, though seriously not the worst. I'd say Sarah Michelle Gellar really is the scene stealer, besides... you know, the ghosts.

A movie that's not scary not clever not entering it's just there. It's not complete awful just a it's a pointless and hallow remake of a Japanese movie.

Being very similarly edited to the Japanese movie may seem like cheating, but it still shows something spooky.
