This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Metacritic describes the genre of The Garbage Pail Kids Movie as: Adventure, Fantasy, Comedy, Family, Musical. None of these descriptors are accurate in regards to this lifeless, offensive, cruel, stupid, inappropriate, scary mess of a movie. I don't blame Metacritic though. I blame whoever is behind this terrible filthy movie. This film is a laundry list of what NOT to do when making a movie. No characters change, it relies solely on crude humor, and it betrays its own message of not judging people when the hero dumps the girl at the end because "he doesn't think she is pretty anymore." This movie sucks. It well deserves its reputation as one of the most poorly made films ever. Fun fact, its also a Gremlins rip off!… Expand
