This movie is great. It has its flaws with the CGI, but the heart, emotion and care into this movie really resonated with me.

Boring and incredibly bad movie. What cgi and scenes was that? Warner needs to rethink its concepts for the next film. It had a lot of potential but was wasted.

Lazy storytelling indeed. The Flash is sort of an attempt a la No Way Home and In The Multiverse of Madness that in no way tries to reboot things for what's to come with James Gunn, it just seems like there was already too much money invested in this movie that had to be finished and released one way or another. Including the huge problem that Ezra Miller became. And the biggest problem is that unlike what Marvel did, which made everything look organic. In The Flash it seems like they just wanted to see how much they could cram into the plot and call it a day.

The plot sucks. The visual effects are terrible. Staggeringly appalling.
Their Supergirl is worse than useless, and the inclusion of Michael Keaton as Batman is an embarrassment done purely with the intention of manipulating audiences who will admit that he is the reason they will watch the movie and not Flash who is the main character.

The problem with DC/Warner since Man of Steel is that there was never a clear direction of what they wanted to do or where they were going and this movie is another cruel example of that. There are still two movies to go before Gunn presents what he's planning and clearly these don't mean **** anymore, but I really want to think that what he has in mind has to be better than this. It has to be. It demands to be better. I think the only winner here was Andy Muschietti who came out with a brand new job to direct the upcoming Batman movie. But after watching this one I'm not sure it was a good choice.
And even worse for him, because he will be compared mercilessly to whatever Matt Reeves does in The Batman 2. What a huge disappointment, but you could see it coming from all sides.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The movie has a terrible CGI, I guess it has been made by the same studio that did the Superman's mustache scene. 250 million dolar is the amount of money someone stole from this studio.
The plot is explained faster than his main character can run, a really bad way to let people understand the importance of Barry's actions. It's like the audience must come to watch the movie just knowing everything about every character and hero. They haven't respected the main enemy of The Flash... Reverse Flash, any word about this. I guess Barry's mother was stabbed by herself.
The best part of the movie is the cameos, there are 2 of them that are going to make your brain explodes. None of the heroes are the Zack Snyder's heroes, in this movie all of them seem to had made by/for kids, they act like stupids, jokes everywhere and shame in every line they say. Right now I can confirm WB has a personal problem against Henry Cavill.
Zack Snyder made something really important for this characters that only time people will apreciate.
What a terrible mistake is not let the 2 main actors of The Flash and Supergirl series of The CW were here.

The movie manages to have emotional weight, with some fun parts. Keaton and Calle stole the show. Although it hurts for me to accept it, I really liked Miller's performance too. With this being said I would put this movie in 3rd place, tied with Shazam and below, SQ2 and WW. Expand

Crap upon crap upon crap. Stupid and mediocre story; all the characters are morons; the production is terrible; the effects look like taken from a Playstation, and Playstation 1; no respect or coherence with what was dome before; all the time it goes for the inane, cheap, dumb jokes.

If you take the worst of Thor 4, WW84, Steel, She-Hulk, and you mix it, that'd be better than this.

It has 2 or 3 decent moments. Keaton is almost always great, everything else is a waste of time, money, and sadly, potential.

We could have had more Snyder, an Affleck Batman, more Cavill, and we get this piece of garbage?? I'm a lifelong fan of DC and I'm out.

I'm not sure what movie all of you who gave this movie more than 2 stars saw, but the one I saw was garbage. The CGI was cartoonish, and if this is the reset DC is trying to do, they're going in the wrong direction if they think that actor is good for Batman. The Flashpoint Paradox storyline is good but the execution they did for this movie was sophomoric. Why not use this to bring in a Batman Beyond character? And I'm sorry, that actor is not right for Barry Allen (it's a shame they couldn't use the CW Flash actor, he is much much better). I only gave it an extra half-star for Michael Keaton, which was the bright spot of this debacle.

Oh, if you do decide to go see this disaster, there is a final, rather stupid, after-credit scene.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. If this attempt of cinematic storytelling is the future of DC movies, they are in serious trouble.

This story relied far too heavily on the successes of previous movies hoping nostalgia might make this a success also. Sadly there are also attempts to redeem previous franchise failures and cameos that have completely missed the mark or gone over the heads of many.

My opinion only, failed terribly and ruined a character and story arc that has so much potential and deserves much better.

Compounding this disappointment, the CGI was the worst in recent memory of any film I've seen. Actually embarrassing for films in this era and capabilities. C Grade with limited budget at best. It shows.

Truly sad.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Was looking forward to the stand alone Flash film, I have to say I was very disappointed. Like other negative reviewers have mentioned the CGI is shockingly bad. It starts from the opening baby drop scene and is evident whenever both Barrys are on the screen, perspective is off and detail is lacking.

Story wise Flash Point isn't given any justice, a lot of new concepts are thrown in with little exposition. If you haven't read the comics or watched the CW tv show, 'speed force, phasing and the reverse Flash' are alien.

The story made it difficult to invest in any of the characters. I probably preferred Barry in the other DC ensemble pieces where although goofy - I at least cared if he was o.k. Or not.

Ezra Miller delivers his career best performance, yet it's not enough to keep the viewer engaged as everyone surrounding him feels like a robot rather than characters, who are programmed to deliver nostalgic and crowd pleasing dialogues.

I am pretty sure there is a 3 hour cut of this film, with less humour and more fleshed out character arcs that does justice to this script, because there is something truly special in this movie, that gets buried under a series of crowd pleasing but mediocre decisions.

With all that being said , the events in the last 15 mins are actually executed really well and will be a treat for any DC fan to watch on the big screen.

Ps- This movie features the worst post credit scene I have seen in my life.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The story is alright, standard Flashpoint fair, and it makes sure we understand what’s going on. But the trailers/spoilers let this film down, as the film was fairly predictable. Sadly, and I mean this, there was something here that could have been great. Nods to earlier films (MoS) could have meant something if the universe was continuing. But the DCEU here is still suffering from the damage caused by JL17. (Whedon)
As a send off to those characters, it was quite disrespectful. Having a Superman sized hole that wasn’t filled.

Some obviously bad rubbery CGI that was noticeable and garish. It felt like it took cues from Marvel with how the humour and soundtrack was used. The big finale was a let down, having some BIG cameos and suggesting what the ‘Worlds of DC’ (remember that?) looks like. But they amounted to nothing. Just a couple of fleeting video game cutaways. Emotionless and hollow they come and go and don’t really try to say anything. They could have been so much more!
The crazy thing is I felt the CW did it better (and cheaper)

The Flash é pura diversão e emoção. Um ótimo encerramento que vai muito além da nostalgia, e apesar do CGI fraco, o filme consegue ser marcante em muito aspectos

You Wanna Get Nuts? Let's Get Nuts, goddamn right this movie is nuts, The Flash was a fresher and definitely the best movie in this three weeks of big major releases (Across The Spider-Verse and Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts), The Flash isYou Wanna Get Nuts? Let's Get Nuts, goddamn right this movie is nuts, The Flash was a fresher and definitely the best movie in this three weeks of big major releases (Across The Spider-Verse and Transformers: Rise Of The Beasts), The Flash is another impressive and exciting takes on the Multiverse which are the thing that they loved to make right now, Ezra Miller outside of his real life behavior, man he is a damn good actor, he really is, it's not easy to play two roles at the same time and he nailed it perfectly, the rest of the cast including of course the one and only Michael Keaton returning as Batman and man did he still got it, Sasha Calle performance and appearance was really pleasant, the action are solid, the score are solid, it was a well written story, well written dialogue, and it's surprisingly funny, the comedy is mostly work, and the rest of the cast was also great, it's an engaging story with a very good character study, the special effects are great and talking about special effects it was in a way also the major problem i have with the movie, which is the CGI on literally every human in this movie, it was too CGI, it's too animated, it looks too plasticky and too jelly, it wasn't great, and i'm hoping it's gonna improve but it's literally the whole movie that the the CGI on the human was just too animated, if it's intentional then i'm still much prefer if they make it more realistic, and besides couple of slow scene and some decisions, overall The Flash was still an incredible journey, a wild trippy adventure with good dark serious theme and story, impressive effects, action, and some amazing performances, it's a pretty exciting experience in one great movie, The Flash is one of the best films of the year, and at last all i can say about the surprises was that it was mostly worth it, all the cameos was great but there is this one jaw dropping long sequence that are just NUTS!, and that is all i can say, go watch The Flash, if you can only choose one between the three i'll say pick The Flash, it's more than worth it.
