É até estranho voltar aqui tendo em vista o que a franquia se tornou. Mas eu não falo isso de uma forma positiva ao primeiro filme. É claro que o longa não se leva a serio, e só de ter a premissa de basear a narrativa em corridas mostra isso.É até estranho voltar aqui tendo em vista o que a franquia se tornou. Mas mesmo assim, é muito besta. É muito mais fácil jogar a suspensão da descrença pros céus quando tudo que vemos é escrachadamente ridículo, como nos filmes atuais.

A fotografia e direção de arte ficam devendo demais. As cores são mortas, temos a impressão que algumas cenas foram gravados no celular, e a direção nas cenas de corrida não me parece ter funcionado tão bem. Prestamos mais atenção na ração dos personagens do que na corrida propriamente dita. Os personagens são fracos, mesmo que haja uma tentativa de desenvolvê-los.

Apesar disso, não acredito que seja um filme ruim. Conseguiu matar o tempo e, assistindo da maneira "correta", talvez você não fique entediado.

The soundtrack for the film is cool and Vin Desil has a cool voice and personality but I don’t care about anyone or anything especially our protagonist played by Paul Walker. It's just another one of those silly car-chase movies. Okay, so we have some cool racing and some hot-looking chicks, but that does not conceal the weak script and the story.

Its pretty sloppy and is more entertaining if you like intense car races with action at the same time, Fast and the Furious doesn't end up a total drag, still its boring.

Predictable and overly simple.

It is good but never really more than that. With stereotypical (but entertaining) action sequences and a plot lacking any depth, this installment is only watchable for car racing fans.

The Fast and the Furious is a movie full of car heists and car chases with not much of a plot and really bad acting.Even as a popcorn flick this movie fails to deliver whatever the movie-makers of this movie wanted it to.

Итог: Даже если не сравнивать фильм с последующими частями, то он скучный. P.S. А если сравнить, то получается очень забавно - тут герои потеют изо всех сил, чтоб накопить на новую тачку, а в 7 части прыгают с самолёта. Просто забавно.… Expand

I sit up in this incredible saga to say that the first was good, indexes of speed and adrenaline that is both action scenes, and scenes of clandestine races , The Fast and the Furious has been able to achieve me impact from the beginning.

This film is okay. The characters are immensely likable, the acting for the most part is great, and there is one FANTASTIC action scene, but the pacing could have been much better, and the CGI is absolutely horrendous in the racing scenes.This film is okay. It's a fun movie to watch With Friends just looking at the car action looking at the early 2000 stylist looking cars. It's just really nice feeling movie.

If I were alive in my full senses in 2001 and had seen The Fast and the Furious, there is no way I could have possibly thought that this film will turn into a full blown franchise in the coming years. I mean the whole concept of these filmsIf I were alive in my full senses in 2001 and had seen The Fast and the Furious, there is no way I could have possibly thought that this film will turn into a full blown franchise in the coming years. I mean the whole concept of these films is basically the cutscenes of a Need for Speed game. But still since I thought probably this franchise is supposed to be about something other than that too, I decided to give it a watch just to prove myself wrong. And I was wrong. This franchise isn't just about the racing. It's also about talking, talking and even more talking.
The Fast and the Furious is not exactly a kind of a film that I would call memorable. The only scenes I remember from it are the beginning where Brian does the illegal street racing, the part where his secret identity is blown up and where the team is doing the truck stunts (I only remember that part because of the meme template). Other than that when it comes to this film, my mind literally goes blank. And wouldn't it be? I was watching it without subtitles in the metro while travelling for college. When I do this I only remember the most memorable scenes from a movie. From here I only remembered that much.
I really liked the character of Brian. It's really sad that Paul Walker is no longer with us. He's literally the reason why I decided to continue watching this franchise, otherwise I'd have given up just like I did for Stuart Little, Hotel Transylvania and Jurassic Park. Thankfully this franchise becomes better with the sequels and redeems the name. I also liked Dominic in this film (but just this one). His dialogue about not mattering whether we lose by an inch or a mile really made me ponder a lot.
Honestly this really goes above my head how a film with so much talking turned into what it is today. It's like if you don't give up on a bad film you can actually create an empire and then redeem your old films (looking at you Warner Bros). This film has gained a cult status among the fans and I respect that decision. I would have loved to rewatch this film to prove myself wrong, but remembering how much talking happens in it and the fact that it doesn't have the same payoff as a superhero or sci-fi movie really turns me off.… Expand
