Not the worst Dirty Harry film but a long way from the best, okay acting, poor writing.

In general, the film was shot at the level of the 2 part, clearly not reaching the original, but there is real cruelty here, which is not enough for modern films in this genre. Expand

The Enforcer isn't as good as the previous two Dirty Harry movie's. The movie's got an alright story, some weak acting apart from Mr. Eastwood, decent dialogue, brilliant and clever action sequences, a few plot holes and a few funny scenes.

Not as enjoyable as the first two, but 'The Enforcer' still entertains.

I don't really have much to say that's different from the 1971 and 1973 films, in that it's a fun flick that is paced well; even if, again, it is a drop from its two predecessors.

Clint Eastwood returns as Dirty Harry or Inspector Callahan in THE ENFORCER..... Directed by James Fargo in 1976 we see Clint Eastwood carrying his big 44 magnum with him as usual blowing the badguys away... There's one scene where someClint Eastwood returns as Dirty Harry or Inspector Callahan in THE ENFORCER..... Directed by James Fargo in 1976 we see Clint Eastwood carrying his big 44 magnum with him as usual blowing the badguys away... There's one scene where some gunmen are holding up a store and have at least two women hostage and say they want a car or the women get their brains blown out so Clint Eastwood drives a car at them and blows them away..... The Enforcer is my favourite sequel to Dirty Harry because a lot of aspects in the film keep true to the original but few parts don't like the use of the rocket launcher or bazooka at the end to blow the badguy up who's holding the mayor hostage. The badguys name is Bobby Maxwell and we see Clint Eastwood teamed up with a female cop who seems clumsy and a bit out of place but that adds to the silliness and it works well in the movie but sadly she dies at the end but after the badguys are killed Clint Eastwood is still alive as usual. There are some funny lines and good quotes in The Enforcer and a few good moments, I liked all the characters but some were a bit dopey. As far as I'm concerned as a whole it's not overlong and is the best sequel to the original Dirty Harry film but after The Enforcer the sequels got worse and worse. If you liked the original Dirty Harry film you might like The Enforcer as some elements are salvaged from the original and adapted into The Enforcer but a warning to you that The Enforcer is not as good as the original. All in all it's fairly violent with possible bad language and a good solid cast and fairly decent acting by most.... Tyne Daly also stars in The Enforcer and as far as sequels go you can get a lot worse so I recommend this to everyone because it's a fairly good film. Expand
