A family's car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. A home is nearby and they decide to spend the night there with their young daughter who has a vivid imagination. The homeowners are an elderly couple who are into witchcraft. They shrink no goodnick people into dolls and add them to their vast collection. Judy the daughter makes friends with another man who arrives at the house. His name is Ralph and he also has 2 friends who are british, 2 girls who are travelling with him. The girl's parents are jerks, the father is egocentric and her stepmother is a snippet. The father ends up as a doll and he deserves that fate for his actions towards the others throughout the movie. Judy and Ralph are the only ones who leave the house. The elderly man tells Judy lies about what happened to her parents. He knows she is better off not knowing the truth and that she wouldn't comprehend it either, she is only a child. Judy and Ralph make a great team, and Gabriel knows that Judy is better off with Ralph. Ralph ends up being her new father. Dolls is a classic horror movie with great effects, twists and comedic undertones. Expand
