As a huge fan of "Hustle" and "Leverage," I was very excited when I saw this film on one of my streaming services, even more so when I noticed who was starring in it. But my excitement quickly faded as bad jokes, overacting, and parodicAs a huge fan of "Hustle" and "Leverage," I was very excited when I saw this film on one of my streaming services, even more so when I noticed who was starring in it. But my excitement quickly faded as bad jokes, overacting, and parodic substance abuse took the place of the wit and verve of cinematic con artistry. I lasted 17 minutes and wrote this review to help this awful film earn the low score it so richly deserves. My 1 point is for Uma Thurman's hair, more magnificent than ever.… Expand

I feels like it could have been based on a 1990s book by James Hawes and like his books, they don't translate to film. The cast is totally wasted here and while the set up and premise is good, it just gets more tiresome and dull as it goes on.

The cast is strong but unfortunately the movie is quite awful. Intended black comedy falls completely flat, the characters are terribly unlikable and they're either hurling expletives or under the influence in nearly every scene. This movie is insultingly horrible. It seemed like they were making it up as they went along. It was sophomoric.
