I've never commented here before, and given the wretched reviews professional and amateur so far given I felt I should weigh in. This movie is definitely worth seeing if you're into awkward comedy. This movie is definitely worth seeing if you're into awkward comedy. This is perhaps the most awkward comedy I've seen in a theatre. Everyone has latched onto the SNL connection so far with Will Forte, but the important one is definitely his one episode stint on HBO's Flight of the Conchords. That's the style he's going for. And Will Arnett pulls it all of beautifully alongside him. Again, if you like Extras, Flight of the Conchords, the Office (and don't come back just to follow the status of Jim and Pam's relationship); if you liked Stranger than Fiction... Given a nine, by the way, because I don't really believe in giving tens.… Expand

It's a movie I can watch over and over again. It's stupid, silly, and does not have a serious bone in it's body. However, it is a fun sit-on-the-couch comedy that will make you laugh and question the mere idea that this movie was a thought itIt's a movie I can watch over and over again. I have probably watched this movie 10 times and continue to find it hilarious. Theres nothing pretentious about it which is why I presume the critics hated it. I was surprised by the poor ratings. I laughed a lot, and i consider myself fairly critical of comedies.

An utterly average film with a few hilarious scenes. Will Arnett is good, but even his Arrested Development references cannot save this mediocrity.
