Summary: NCM Fathom Events and Turner Classic Movies present the TCM Event Series Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds completely restored and back on the big screen for only one day (two show times available) on Wednesday, September 19 in select movie theatres nationwide. The event will begin with a specially produced TCM exclusive introduction with TCM Host Robert Osborne as he introduces Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds and an exclusive interview with the film’s star Tippi Hedren. Hedren will not only reveal how "Hitch" hand-picked her to play the part of Melanie Daniels but also how the movie that launched her career -- ended it. In addition, Osborne reaches deep into the TCM Archives to share more on set stories from Hedren’s co-stars: Rod Taylor and Suzanne Pleshette. Immediately following this exclusive, never-before-seen TCM produced content, audiences will be treated to the suspense ridden classic Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds.
