Great Documentary! The cinematography was excellent, the story was so intriguing, and the father/son dynamic was so entertaining to watch. I think the Porter Steel employees are hilarious, especially the nerdy looking guy with the glasses!Great Documentary! The cinematography was excellent, the story was so intriguing, and the father/son dynamic was so entertaining to watch. I think the Porter Steel employees are hilarious, especially the nerdy looking guy with the glasses! The son Cole, is great and I felt sorry for him a few times. His dad never really gave him a “Good Job Son”. The boat mover is a complete idiot but he was very entertaining. I think he was way in over his head and to lie about building the boat rig specifically for that move was a comical. I love the fact no one called him by his name. He definitely fit the Florida Man criteria. Great job to the filmmakers. The director is great and I’m sure the producer had his hands full with that show. Great job and I’m looking forward to the sequel! A+ Highly Recommend 10/10 Expand

This documentary was easy and fun to watch. We need more documentaries like this, it made me laugh, maybe even shed a tear. Considering all the trash that’s on TV this is something we look forward to watching.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Ark of Lilburn is one of the most entertaining Documentaries I’ve watched in awhile. It’s funny, it’s quirky, and parts will make you sad. Who in their right mind would build such a giant boat so far from the water and then hire a Florida man who has never moved a boat before to move it. The storyline was great and it keeps you entertained for the entire film. The directing was great and cinematography was on point! Props to the producer in bringing this film to life. This is definitely more interesting than all the woke content on the idiot tube nowadays! 10/10 Go watch it! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Ark of Lilburn tells the story of a man who built a successful steel company from the ground up and eventually got bored with it, and wanted to see if it was feasible to build boats for a living. Well he built one, and did took him quite a few years to build it before the recession of 2008 hit, and eventually that dream was put on hold.

Fast forward to now, well the boat is 90% completed and the owner is now retired in Tampa, Florida. Now, he wants his gigantic boat down in Tampa so he can sip on piña coladas as a retired business owner. Everything sounds so simple until you get a house mover from Florida who thinks he can move it. Well, it turns out that guy is a complete idiot and can’t measure. Sounds like he is one of those die hard Trump supporters. Putting politics aside, this movie was great. Without all the madness from the Ponytail guy from Florida, this film may have sucked. Congratulations to the Porters for getting the ginormous boat to its first destination. I think there is also congratulations for the Filmmakers for capturing this crazy story. I think this movie is definitely shot for a Discovery Channel, Netflix, or even A&E. I think the Florida man and the Porters should have their own show. If you’re still debating whether this is a good film to watch, Ill save you the trouble and say buy it. You will not be disappointed.

This was spectacular! I did not think it was going to be so entertaining. A man moving a boat, what's the big deal? Well, I was in for a real treat. I love all the workers at Porter Steel, especially the nerdy guy with the Glasses. I feelThis was spectacular! I did not think it was going to be so entertaining. A man moving a boat, what's the big deal? Well, I was in for a real treat. I love all the workers at Porter Steel, especially the nerdy guy with the Glasses. I feel kinda bad for the son, he tries to make is dad proud and that never happens. The Boat mover I thought was hilarious but he was definitely a crook! Moving that boat was way out of his league and he should stick to moving houses. Would love to watch a show just about him and his house moving projects!

The Ark of Lilburn is a 10/10 and you should watch!
