What the critics say about the writing are correct. However, the cast with a surprisingly, brave cameo by a beloved actor elevate the weak material into something watchable.

For people who want to watch it because it was Robin Williams last movie released when he was alive, I would recommend waiting until some time has past. There are a couple of scenes that are too soon to watch and appreciate in the context of the movie.

Overall, I liked it. It wasn't great, but it has a good message. It's worth watching for the cast.

The acting was really good, the story was interesting even though it was silly and the movie was pretty entertaining. While the narration outstayed it's welcome and there were a few plot holes, it was still a good movie.

Who would have thought that an actor that I loved to watch with my overly angry old man when he was alive would be a movie that would be one of Robin's last. For that alone, it was worth a $7 buy.

Very bad writing, one dimensional characters, and a huge pile of over acting. Not worth a second of anyone's time. I pity anyone that took part in this film, and I shun the writer and the director.

Especially for the likes of Dinklage, Williams (R.I.P.), and even Kunis. It's their performances that keep the movie from totally feeling like it should have been a straight to DVD release.

Part of the cheap feeling comes from how the camera always seems to be slightly shaking in the majority of the scenes. It also just looks like a movie with a low-budget. The only other problems with this drama-comedy is that it's not that strong in the drama or comedy. It's emotional moments fall short thanks to an all too familiar message that says "Hey, life is short so be happy and have no regrets." With Williams and Kunis focusing on the drama, the comedy falls to the rest of the cast. Outside of the criminally underused Dinklage a hilarious cameo from Louis C.K. there's not much funny going on here.

I wouldn't call it a bad movie, just a dull one that fails to elevate itself to the heights that other comedy-drama movies have obtained. It's watchable and in no way made me miserable, but I do feel like it is very weak when compared to it's competition. There's not enough humor, true emotion, or use for it's talented leads to make it particularly memorable. Instead it's just mediocre.

The writing in this movie is all over the place and at times it can be difficult to determine what the films message ultimately is. Not to mention that the casting of Williams is totally wrong. I almost think the film would have played out a lot better if Dinklage and Williams had switched places.

Williams portrays a hateful, racist jerk and the put it simply, he just isn't that guy. Sure he can joke at the expense of others, but in a way that never feels aggressive or cruel. Also, I'm no prude, but the foul language throughout the feel was not only completely unnecessary but also borderline shocking.

Really disappointing, and not a title that Williams should be remembered for.

It is not a comedy since there are no laughs. It is not a drama, there is none. It is loaded with offensive, foul language which serves no purpose. The point of the film might have been to live life to the fullest. It did not come near making that point properly. On the contrary, it made the point that one would be better off never to watch such horrible mess of a film. Expand

"The Angriest Man in Brooklyn" 10 Scale Rating: 3.5 (Bad) ...

The Good: Robin Williams has a solid moment or two, though they are few and far between. The idea isn't a bad one and parts of the ending were well done.

The Bad: For the most part though, the film is weighed down by mediocre performances (including Williams) and clunky direction. Williams is supposed to be a complete jerk and entirely unlikeable, but goes too far and comes across as someone who will never change. Even towards the end when Williams is supposed to realize what sort of person he has been his entire life, it doesn't quite feel like he's changed very much. It's difficult to get into a film like this when the lead is so unlikeable (all the way up til the end!) that you don't really care if he lives or dies. Mila Kunis, who is usually pretty good, was terrible in this. Not even Peter Dinklage and Melissa Leo could save this film from being a below average mess.

Enjoyments from both the genres are different. You know it was one of the last movies of the legendary actor Robin Williams. That was not the reason for me to like it. The story begins to build on a silly reason, but it was a partially unique concept. Opens like a regular comedy and then turn over to the actual meaning for the contents it deals. Like the cancer theme movies it gets emotional in the later parts. There's no twists, but convinces the effort they had tried to end it on a high note. Sadly, it kind of depicts the actual life incident of Robin Williams. It is a great loss, I grew up watching 'Jumanji' and 'Flubber' and definitely he's going to live forever through his movies.

Henry Altman is a man of impatient. He always angry at everyone for everything. It was no different one day when he decides to go see a doctor. He gets his turn after the long wait. As usual, he shows his anger at the lady doctor who just had a bad day. With a tension arise in an argument, a mistake will be made. So the adventure begins that takes us along all over the city which takes place in a 90 minutes. Like all the story, after realizing the what she had done was wrong, how it was brought into the sense for who affected by her mistake is the remaining.

‘‘Anger is the only thing they left me.
Anger is my refuge, it's my shield. Anger is my birthright!’’

The trailer itself said everything about the movie. Going for the movie without the trailer watch would be a great move, at least you will get something to enjoy. The cast was good, I mean everyone, including who came in short roles. It mainly focused on Robin Williams and Mila Kunis roles. These two characters take an adventure throughout the Brooklyn before the story comes to the conclusion. The movie was a lot better than I thought and what others said about it. It is kind of tearjerker movie. With the loss of Robin Williams in the real life, I got a little emotional to the end part. But the story was a bit let down. In the middle when the second half starts to undertake it really slows down and nothing happens in an exciting way. Frankly to say, it was an hour movie, but stretched for extra few more minutes to make comfortable for the theatre release. So that caused it to fall to a moderate pace. It should have been a short movie, though, as a feature film it kind of satisfied me. Somehow, with the nice direction and performances and places it was shot, all combined together gives an overall decent movie watching experience.
