The movie has many themes, weak evil and a bad story twist in Ranjeh.

The film tries to keep the theme of time, responsibility and romance in balance, which falls flat on its head. It also wants to establish a balance between the moments of humor, epic, emotion, etc., which cannot be restored. What James Gunn did perfectly in Guardians of the Galaxy Did.
Both the villains of the movie have weaknesses. Electro is a complex person who is easy to identify with, but neither his appearance nor his motivation to hurt people can be understood. Harry is also not loyal to the comics. That is, the person who has schizophrenia is superior and oppressed. Terin is a comic book patient, he has become a snarling teenager who kills Gwen!
The ending movie makes up for the previous time. But in the comic world, Peter accidentally became Spider-Man. Here, it was revealed that his father's DNA sample was injected into those spiders!!!
Other than this, all the actors, chemistry, special effects, etc. are excellent.
In general, it could be among the best and a masterpiece, but alas...… Expand

one of the few things that are making this film stand out from the rest of the Spider-Man movies are the visuals and the chemistry of Andrew Garfield and Emma stone whenever they’re on screen…and I guess Electro is pretty cool,
but especially how they did the death of Gwen Stacey which was pretty heartbreaking. 6.8/10

I hope they do a third entry if it’s done RIGHT… Expand

I think this is one of those blindspot movies? I have a ton of fun with and people who I trust say it's kind of bad. Ok the Green Goblin was kind of crappy. Leider war das nicht wirklich was. Ansich sind die Stärken des Vorgängers wieder die da. Nur leider kommen alte Schwächen ebenfalls zurück. Dazu kommen leider noch weitere Schwächen.

Größte Schwäche für mich sind die Bösewichte. Electro ist unfassbar schlecht geschrieben. Harry reiht sich direkt neben an. Was sie sich da ausgedacht haben war einfach nur furchtbar. Trotzdem muss ich zugute heißen, dass die Szene von Electro's ersten Auftrifft atemberaubend war. Das war es dann aber auch schon. Aber trotz aller Kritik liebe ich die starke Konsequenz am Ende des Films. Bei der Szene bleibt der Atem stehen. Egal wie man es dreht. Schlussendlich muss ich sagen. Ich finde ihn nicht schlecht.. aber auch nicht gut... schade.… Expand

Le componenti di Electro, l'addio di Gwen, la morte di Gwen, Goblin, la malattia di Harry, la morte dei genitori sono tutte cose interessanti ma mal legate insieme. Quindi un bellissimo Electro si trasforma in un puffo stupido.

U can most def feel Sony's hand in this one trying to speed up the process of setting up bigger movies with sinister six involved and it fails because of that. The movie has way too many storylines. Harry didn't need to become Green Goblin in this one. Not enough focus on Electro who I thought was great and should have been the only villain. Adding Rhino for the intro was great but no need to show him at the end of the movie basically have the trailer final shot be the film's closing shot, like... what were they thinking?
I like that they killed Gwen but once again they move on way too fast. Sony is so obsessed with moving on quickly in both of these films that you start wondering what's the point of making these solo movies anyway? On the bright side I think the movie looks great. It is a very pretty film and spider-man action doesn't disappoint. I love what they did with the score for the film but soundtrack choices felt out of place.… Expand

The plot is muddled, the villains have no motivation and serve no purpose, the Peter and Gwen subplot seems like it is going nowhere, product placement is everywhere. This is everything a movie should not be.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The Amazing Spider-Man 2, though not a bad movie, is the weakest of any of the live-action Spider-Man movies made since the start of this century. It is the follow up to the successful reboot film, The Amazing Spider-Man, in which Peter is bitten by the radioactive spider, gets his superpowers, constructs his web shooters, Uncle Ben is killed and Peter learns the whole "with great power comes great responsibility" thing like in the original 2002 flick, falls in love with the beautiful Gwen Stacy, and defeats the Lizard. This time around Peter is going to college and taking pictures for the Daily Bugle, though we never see J. Jonah Jameson, and is still dating Gwen Stacy although the relationship is sort of on and off because Peter doesn't want to put her in harms way; her father's dying wish was that Peter kept his distance from her for her safety's sake. The actors that portray Peter and Gwen have good chemistry, maybe partly because the two were going out in real life at the time. Harry is introduced in this one as an old friend of Peter, and heir to the business tycoon Norman Osborn who is dying of a strange genetic condition that makes him appear like a goblin that he passes on to his son. In the movie Harry is trying to get Spider-Man's help to ameliorate this problem and believes if he can get a sample of Spider-Man's blood, it could help him prevent the onset of this condition. Max Dillon, a nerdy outcast electrical engineer played by Jamie Foxx is transformed into the menacing Electro in a freak electric eel lab accident. Electro vows revenge on Spider-Man and New York City as he feels he had been wronged in some way. Electro is a master of electricity and has the ability of electric manipulation, first wreaking havoc in Times Square. I liked Electro's look in the film, though it is somewhat a departure from his original appearance in the comics. His skin is blue as is his electricity, and he dawns black spandex with a yellow collar around the neck and lightning bolts plastered on the arms. Eventually Spider-Man faces Electro and defeats him with the help of his girlfriend Gwen. Harry, feeling betrayed by Peter and Spider-Man, undergoes a performance enhancing procedure which worsens his condition and his appearance mutates to appear like that of a goblin. He becomes the Green Goblin. He steals a green suit of armor and some of Oscorp's weaponry and a glider and first kills someone at Oscorp. He then goes after Peter for betraying him. He fights Spider-Man after Spidey's confrontation with Electro and is defeated but manages to kill Gwen Stacy in a classic depiction of the lover's death like in the original comics. Rhino, a brawny Russian thug who equips himself with a rhinoceros-themed silver Mech-suit made of battle armor equipped with machine guns and missile launchers wreaks havoc in the streets at the end of the movie and Spidey confronts him in the street. It was cool seeing Rhino on the big screen. Overall though, the movie was kind of a slow burner, sometimes boring, and the plot was a little convoluted with too much going on. Also, the fight scenes weren't as well choreographed as the ones in the original Raimi trilogy, though the cgi was convincing. Decent, but not great.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The movie began in such a way that there's no way you could think this is a Spider-Man movie. It looked more like Mission Impossible or Fast & Furious or something. Then once that scene is over, we finally see an awesome shot of Spider-Man. One thing we can all agree with in this movie is that the visual effects and CGI is gorgeous. But everything else, well, I'm coming to that.

So the next shot is of Rhino robbing a truck. And you never know it's Rhino until the end of the movie where he actually wears a Rhino suit. Afterwards Spider-Man comes to his graduation ceremony that serves no purpose other than the ending of the movie when Peter is looking at Gwen's speech. You must be thinking that dude, I've heard of sequel baiting but this is "ending baiting"! So don't worry, we will have plenty more to come.

Now there's Max Dilon, who's obsessed with Spider-Man because Spider-Man saved his life once. Quite nice, right? But then he wants to celebrate his birthday with Spider-Man but accidentally falls in the Eel tank. And he becomes Electro. And I want to ask the makers of this movie, have you EVER seen Electro? From which angle does he look like Electro to you? He looks so nothing-like-Electro that they had to actually specify that he's not Electro.

And now Electro hates Spider-Man because everyone suddenly started cheering for Spider-Man when he came to Times Square. And the best part? The police started firing at Electro? Why? Because he was bl...ue? And then instead of reasoning with Spider-Man they both started fighting. And now Electro hates Spider-Man.

Then we have the glorious (?) Harry Osborne. His father died telling him that he will die of the same disease as his father is. And then suddenly after a few scenes he started having that disease. Now that begs the question - why did he tell him this? If he hadn't said it Harry would've never gotten the disease. Now suddenly it is announced that Harry and Peter are childhood friends, and now Harry asks Peter to get him Spider-Man's blood. And instead of helping, Spider-Man... tells him his blood isn't compatible? He should have given his blood and said that he should get it tested at Oscorp before using it.

We finally get to see Spider-Man and Electro fight in a power plant, and Electro absolutely annihilantes Spider-Man over there, until Gwen comes up and saves him. Now you must be thinking - "wow, Gwen is so sensible. She can help Spider-Man to take down a thug like Electro." But then all that appreciation finishes because Harry comes up. And he copies Joker's dialogue from The Dark Knight and "lets Gwen go". Spider-Man shoots a web and it takes the form of a hand! And it doesn't save Gwen anyway so it was for nothing. In the end there's a sequel baiting; the scene from the trailer because of which we were excited to see this movie came, and THE MOVIE ENDED AT THAT SCENE!!! Like, why would you ever do that?

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 can absolutely be appreciated for its gorgeous visuals and advanced CGI. But other than that everything else misses the mark. I really wanted a sequel for it, because I like Andrew Garfield. Probably a third film might redeem it, like how Zack Snyder's Justice League redeemed Snyderverse.… Expand

The villains are not worked out, not disclosed. I’ll say more. These are commonplace cliches. It was as if they were made according to the manual “The Most Cliched Villain in the World”. Did it work? Of course not.

The main character continues to be selfish, he spat on a girl, on his best friend, although he could help him. He didn’t try to find a solution, in general.

The film cannot understand what it should concentrate on. On the villains or on the love line or on the line of the secrets of Oskorp or something else. And this is the worst part of the picture. You are simply thrown from side to side and you do not have time to understand what, where, when, and why.

This is a bad movie. This is the worst movie about Spider-Man.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I just watched this movie in 3D using my PSVR. I love Spider-Man 1 and 2 but 3 was terrible. I hated Far From Home and I haven't seen any of the other Spider-Man movies. I never watched Homecoming or the first Amazing Spider-Man film. But I'm starting to collect 3D Blu-Ray movies now since I have a PSVR. So I honestly thought this movie'was going to suck but I bought it since it's in 3D and it was only 4 dollars. And man the 3D was incredible in some scenes. Anyone that said it sucked you must of watched a different movie. Now the actual movie is a mixed bag for me. I didn't like some creative decisions they made. The last scene wasn't needed and should of been cut out. Paul Giamatti is a great actor but I hated his character here. Why did they make such a stupid character with such a bad head tattoo? And Jamie Foxx as Electro was cool. But why did they make him so nerdy and weird as Max. Jamie Foxx is a cool dude and it was just something I hated. Also another problem I have is what they did with Harry Osborn. They rushed his storyline and it shouldn't have been in this movie. Him becoming the Green Golblin happened too fast and it felt rushed. And both he and Electro hating Spider-Man also felt rushed and poorly executed to me. They both loved him and all of a sudden they hated his guts because of the reasons they gave just wasn't believable to me. They should of set it up better. But they just had too much going on for one movie to handle. Although all the action scenes were so cool in 3D. One of the last scenes where Spider-Man was fighting Harry/Green Golblin looked amazing. And the best looking scene in 3D was when Spider-Man tried to save Gwen Stacy by shooting out his web in that clock tower. I thought she was going to live and have it end there with one last kiss.. But they killed her off... I guess it wasn't predictable but man.. Emma Stone gave a really great performance. So I am disappointed they decided to kill her character. I liked her relationship with Peter it was believable to me. Good acting by the main cast. I thought I was going to hate Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man but he did a good job. He's a bit too witty for me but it worked. He's way better than Tom Holland. But I still think Tobey Maguire is the best Spider-Man. Give me Spider-Man 4 in 3D. And just stop with all the bad jokes. This movie has some but it was no where near as bad as Far From Home. Overall this movie is a must own for any 3D collector. I wouldn't watch the normal 2D version. I can understand some of the hate it gets but I don't understand anyone over the age of 12 that thinks Far From Home was a good movie and better than this. Those people have really bad taste. So Im giving Amazing Spider-Man 2 a 7/10 because the 3D is so good. But don't bother watching it in 2D. It's a mess of a plot. I would love to go in and re edit it.… Expand

This movie is the sequel to the 2012 movie, once again centered on the figure of Spiderman. Here, young Peter Parker is very torn between Gwen's love and the fear that her action as a punisher might endanger her. Then comes a new super villain (well, the whole story about him really didn't convince me, especially when he hates Spider-Man), and it all happens too fast from there.

As in the first movie, the characters are superficial and the plot is undeveloped. The cast can't shine, because they didn't give you material for it. To some extent, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone are saved for their good romantic match. The fast pace of the film and the way events run over allow no developments or delays. The film is clearly focused on the use and abuse of CGI and quality visual and sound features. Undoubtedly, they are remarkable, but they do not justify the film, which is full of dramatic and psychologically profound moments that the plot then completely wastes to the detriment of the action, CGI and show-off, which is really worth seeing. .

Of all the movies about Spider-Man, I think this must be the worst, or one of the worst.… Expand

First I will start with the things I like about this film. First of all I think the suit used in this film is spectacular. It is by far the most comic accurate Spiderman suit we have ever gotten. The visual effects are quite good and there are some very creative camera shots throughout the film. Han Zimmer also composes a very underrated Spiderman score which I believe is one of the best ever. Finally there is when very short scene in the movie which I believe encapsulates everything Spiderman stands for. That scene is when Spiderman helps a kid who is getting bullied and walks him home. Its incredibly short but it makes me smile every time I see it. Ok now onto everything this movie does wrong. My main issue with the film is its many plotlines. This film suffers from the same problem as Spiderman 3 and Iron Man 2. Too many plotlines fighting for the spotlight. The only difference is that in this film they all happening at once making this film's story a massive clusterf**k. Even worst all of these plotlines are terrible. First there is Harry Osborn's plotline. To start the film has us believe that Harry and Peter have been friends for years without even one mention of him the first film. Then he is later supposedly dying of a genetic disease from his father. He apparently needs a cure now even though it took his father over 50 years to die from it. Its so ridiculous and we didn't need it. Electro's plotline is even stupider. He goes from a Jim Carrey Riddler like villain who obsesses over the hero to a cartoonishly evil villain without barely any character development. Then along with those two going on at the same time we also have too deal with Peter continuing to investigate his parent's past and more stupid relationship drama from Peter and Gwen. Another thing that makes this film very irritating at times is the amount of stupid decisions made from the characters. There are many occasions when Spiderman will stop to make a joke while civilians are in peril and while doing so causes more destruction. Its so reckless and idiotic. Not to mention Gwen Stacey. Literally her stupid decision making in this film leads tp her own death. How are we supposed to care about a character if they make stupid decisions that no sane person would make. Before I wrap up this review I will reference one scene which sums up how insanely ridiculous and stupid this film is overall. So there is a scene in which Peter gets mad and throws a calculator at a wall. Seems normal enough, Right? But then gold coins come out of the calculator which Peter uses in a coin slot in an abandoned subway which makes a train come out of the f***ing ground. WTF! This film is so stupid! Overall the Amazing Spiderman 2 is a lazy, poorly written mess of a film with some occasional good elements but nothing that can redeem this sorry excuse for a Spiderman movie.… Expand

That Spider-man seems so much stiffer and mopey. Andrew Garfield is loose, the computer effects (if you can even tell it's CG, some claim to be able too, but I don't believe them) make Spider-man loose, and nimble like he's supposed to be. I enjoyed the villains a lot too. Electro felt in the vein of Michelle Pfiefer's Catwoman to me, and even Harry was portrayed great.… Expand

Andrew and Emma return and there still amazing. The action scenes are at their best with this film. Dane Dehaan's performance was also pretty good imo.
The 3 villains are a problem though. Paul Giamatti's Rhino was pointless and annoying. Jamie Foxx's Electro was cartoonish as a normal person. He then has a strong hatred against people around him but a weak hatred for Spider-Man. Then he is missing for like 40 minutes then comes back and dies (only 2 fight scenes with Electro, there should have been 3 or 4). Dane Dehaan's Green Goblin should've transformed at the halfway point because his backstory was interesting to me, and shouldn't have just been at the end.
The story gets a bit complicated with Peter's parents backstory going too far unlike the first film. Still I wish TASM 3 was made. I don't hate this film, just didn't like it as much as others.

Sequels of films about a spider man or are widely loved, the themes from the previous installment are so interestingly developed that the continuation is a new quality, or on the contrary, and the series itself is a step backwards. In the case of the "Amazing Spider-Man 2", it is so big that Marvel's most popular superhero almost does the twine. The film is overloaded with threads. Peter Parker sees a dead man the father of his beloved, who, as a reminder, in his predecessor on his deathbed, ordered Peter to stop seeing his daughter. Parker has broken up with Gwen for the second time, then follows her, and then admits to what she accepts without any of any kind of problem. A comic book lover and an electrician in Oscorp it falls into the aquarium full of electric eels ...which makes him... a villain for our protagonist, of course! And here I have to lean towards the praise, because the first The spider clash with Electro was really solid. Of course, special effects do not look too realistic, but impressive. I like Electro's design, which was taken from Ultimate comics, and it's good, because if Marc Webb had started the show, it would have been a good thing. that antagonist from the 616 universe would be well... only worse. Plus also the costume of the main character, who, along with the visual style of the film It became very clear, probably by blindly following the trends, because when two years earlier the first part had it's premiere, Nolan's trilogy was very popular (the studio focused on the dark atmosphere, which has nothing to do with Spider-Man), in 2014 MCU films were a huge money, and these films have a much wider palette of colors than the films about Batman. Harry Osborn theme in this spectacle seems to be pushed to the limit by the producers, because he was devoted too little time and watching It gives the impression that the various stages of this story are only ticked off, but unfortunately they do not offer anything in return. Both The Green Goblin (in this role Dane DeHaan, who is wonderful in his exaggeration) and Rhino are shown in full glory at the end, which it would be satisfying if we knew more about these spider opponents.
To sum up, I had a really good time, but curiously, so I'm happy to see Spider-Man in Marvel's cinematic universe.… Expand

I can't believe that they somehow managed to make a movie even worse than the first Amazing Spider-Man movie in every single way.

The Good:
-Nothing. I literally didn't like anything from this movie, you'll see why. Maybe the only thing I liked was Spider-Man's costume, which looked awesome and is probably the best looking Spidey costume in any live-action Spider-Man film to date.

The Bad:
-Too many characters and too many subplots happening at the same time. We have three main villains (well two I guess because one of them barely shows up) none of them are developed, none of them have a motivation that actually makes sense and none of them are intimidating. Electro is just the worst, such a dumb character with a dumb motivation to become evil.
-There's barely any action and when there's action, it's very underwhelming.
-If you went to see this movie when it came out, I'm sorry to tell you but you payed for a two and a half hour long ad promoting the "Sony Spider-Man cinematic universe" that was supposed to start with this movie. This is the purpose of the movie, like the purpose of the last movie was only to keep the movie rights away from Marvel Studios and to make money, this movie's purpose is to set twenty other movies, that's why characters like Harry Osborn are just shoehorned in, even though he was not mentioned in the last movie, that's why I can't buy that "longtime" friendship between him and Peter.

I'm actually happy to see that "Spider-Man cinematic universe" get cancelled. It sounds as a good idea on paper, but with this cast of actors and this mess they just made with this movie I stopped being excited to see any of the movies that were planned. Now Spidey seems to do great once again with his inclusion in the MCU and the amazing "Spider-Man Into the Spider-Verse". So I actually thank Sony for releasing this disaster of a movie, because thanks to this, those new and great Spider-Man movies exist.… Expand

This movie doesn't know what it wants to be, it doesn't know if it wants to be an action movie or a romantic drama. Acting is good from Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, but the other cast members are average in this film. I really love the suit in this movie, it looks like the classic suit from the comics but that is really the only positive. I hated the whole sub plot that involved Peter's parents in the first movie and I hate it even more in this movie. A lot of the dialog in the movie is really cringe especially the scenes with Peter and Gwen, this movie feels like a romantic drama more than anything else. Electro is one of my favorite villains in the Spider-Man universe and I really like him in this movie, but this movie gets really boring after a while. Electro is the only villain in the movie until the very end when Green Goblin gets introduced. Harry Osborn is a really dull and boring character in this movie. This movie struggles with it's tone just like the first movie except TASM 2 tries to be light hearted but also tries to be dark at the same time, this movie is a mess. The action scenes are really cool and entertaining though and the CGI is really well done as well. The movie's ending isn't satisfying at all. This isn't Spider-Man at all, it's a really bad movie in every aspect. I don't recommend The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to anyone, least of all Spider-Man fans. This is a disgrace of a movie.… Expand

My least favourite film of all time.
Terrible dialogue ("its my birthday, and its time to light my candles")

Tonal mess ( the incy wincy spider music in emotional electro fight)
Spiderman makes jokes which results in many civilians dying instead of stoping the crime straight away. (the opening action sequence with rhino)

Though the action scenes are thrilling, this sequel made the same mistake "Spider-Man 3" did. That is, having an excessive amount of characters and unclear character motivations.

De fato o CGI é incrível,as cenas de ação são MARAVILHOSAS,o Homem Aranha se balançando pela cidade é muito FODA,mostra o quão leve é o Aranha se balançando por aí,e a trilha sonora é MUITO BOA,tirando a trilha da trilogia de 2000,essa é a melhor disparada comparado a "The Amazing Spider-Man" e "Spider-Man Homecoming".
Mas infelizmente o roteiro pecou,logo no início do filme o Peter consegue ter visões do pai da Gwen dizendo pra ele "Deixe a Gwen fora disso" ,e isso se repete ao longo do filme,e sinceramente,até pra quem não sabe NADA da história do Aranha,já ficava achando que ela ia morrer.
Os vilões são a pior coisa do filme,são 3,Electro,Duende Verde e Rhino.Electro não tem muitos motivos pra ficar P da vida com o Homem Aranha,primeiro o Aranha não se lembra do nome dele,e quando ele vai tentar o acalmar,as câmeras começam a mostrar o Aranha,e nisso ele fica pistola e pega ódio do Aranha.
O Duende Verde em uns 10 minutos aprende a fazer manobras e voar com o planador,vai atrás do Homem Aranha,descobre que ele é o Peter Parker,luta com o Aranha e mata a Gwen,isso te lembra alguma coisa?Sim,ele basicamente repetiu os erros do Venom em Homem Aranha 3
E o Rhino só aparece no começo do filme em uma cena que o Aranha pega de volta os itens que ele estava roubando,e no final que ele está com sua armadura e tivemos a cena em que o menininho veste sua fantasia na frente do Rhino e fica lá até o Aranha chegar e ter um diálogo com ele e fazer ele voltar pra mãe dele...que vilão é esse?Um de verdade já tinha dado um Headshot no garoto,onde já se viu ficar esperando todo esse diálogo,e outra coisa,o que as pessoas estavam fazendo ali no meio da luta?A mesma coisa acontece na cena do Electro no meio do filme… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. (Opinions) Ah, the Amazing Spiderman 2. A movie that gets a bit to much hate it my personal opinion. It isnt the best, but not the worst. It has some REALLY good stuff, but its also flawed. Good: Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone had some really good acting, chemistry, the Spiderman swinging scenes, music, suit was my favourite out of all the live action Spiderman suits, great fight scenes, and Spiderman was cocky, making jokes. Bad: Story, I mean wow. Marc Webb was asked to do ALOT. I mean, set up for a Sinister 6 and the Amazing 3 while having to contine the story from TASM 1, geez. This resulted in a lot of side stories that actually had something going for it, but should have been in seperate movies allowing the characters/villains to actually develop. Electro was a pretty good VILLAIN but his Max part was just okay. Goblin was also pretty good, but rushed and wasted. He should have developed more but the acting was decent. And Rhino... I see alot or people saying, “why was he even in the movie?!” Well, it was setting up for him to appear in Sinister 6 and TASM 3 so I wasnt that mad with the little screen time as he had a cool suit, but was flawed. Besides Plot and Story, thats really it. I actually enjoyed the Amazing Spiderman 2, did a lot of stuff right. Would DEFINITELY watch this than Spiderman 3 for example. The Amazing Spiderman 2 gets a solid 7/10.… Expand

A borderline disaster. Perhaps sufficiently bad enough to kill this incarnation of the Spider-Man series. Dialogue is clunky and the tone of the movie is all over the map. Dialogue is clunky and the tone of the movie is all over the map. At one point, as Peter and Gwen are in a broom closet at Oscorp hiding out from some nasty security men, they rekindle a discussion of whether she should go to her Oxford study program in England or not. Times Square is laid to waste (again) by Electro and the mass destruction of a New York landmark seems to get lost later in the on-going debate about leaving for Oxford or not.

The musical score is poor and often doesn't support the drama depicted. Dane DeHaan is an exciting young actor but his Harry Osborn seems a tad over-the-top at times. Finally, this smarmy Peter Parker/Spider-Man edition portrayed by Andrew Garfield is, after two films, actually pretty annoying. Sony must feel pretty frustrated with its corner of the Marvel universe. I wonder when the next impatient Spider-Man "reboot" will be green-lit. This edition offers nothing that we didn't see and (dare I say) didn't enjoy better with the first two Raimi films.… Expand

Ultimately had fun watching this. The cast were engaging with Garfield and Stone really elevating the material above average. The action scenes were excellent. It’s not bad? It’s just not impressive. It’s the meh-est of all the Spider-Man movies. At least Spider Man 3 was laughable.
