A heart-rending drama about the indifference of the American medical and judicial system, and let's face it, that's also the indifference you'll find in so many other places around the world.

And it's a reality that makes it clear to millions of victims of sexual assault that their experience and suffering will simply not receive justice.
It goes without saying how many of these victims do not even attempt to go through the situations experienced by the protagonist of this story.

Urgent and necessary. It's no longer even a question of demanding change, but of getting people who usually look the other way to actually pay attention.

Excellent directorial debut, and an impressive performance by the lead actress.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. very slow very delibrate very minimal script. simple and effective. reminds me of sound of metal. in some ways it was a telemovie but a very good one. could not give an eight coz the woman's character was a little unbelievable. she's aldy a grown woman but behaved like a little curious girl being cajoled by the wolves into the dangerous 'date rape pill'.....… Expand
