Plot alone does not make a story. An idea alone does not make a premise. A goal alone does not make a character. Remember Sammy Jankis.

CastCurrently hitting the movie screens with "Oppenheimer", one has to be curious about Christopher Nolan's "Tenet", which came out during a global Pandemic. Kudos for daring the big release. Cinematography is stunning, as are the locations. Cast & Crew surely had fun shooting this blockbuster. Some elements, booming massive dramatic sound, confusing timelines, fast forward and review remind of earlier work. (explicitly not Robert Zemeckis "Back to the Future") Alex von Roon had enjoyed "Memento" of sorts back in the day & met some of the brains behind it in person. Over time "Memento" has riped like a good wine. German dubbing was a bit rough with many phony accents which mad the lines partly hard to decipher. Kenneth Branagh is fun to watch as is former vampire heart-throb Robert Pattinson and the lead. Von Roon, currently on strike with SAGAFTRA, wonders, which Algorithm will compare the movies of Nolan and Michael Haneke. Expand

Not Nolan in his best shape, its a bit too long, the sound is all over the place, and the plot is kind of a mess, but still a compelling piece of film with a great concept and incredible production design.

You get sentiments like this all throughout the movie.

I totally mean it , Nolan has crafted a masterpiece which is meant to be viewed on the largest screen possible . I know this review is late and people with the brain of 9 year old will of course not understand this "Masterpiece". The plot in a nutshell is all about Time travel , an idea we all are very familiar with . It's the screenplay that comes up on top (It does have a minor exposition problem) and that protagonist's fight at the airport is just wow wow wow wow !!!!! . The cinematography , dialogues , direction and acting is top notch , it forcefully asks the viewer to watch it again and every time you watch it you notice something new . For those of you who don't understand it let me rephrase a quote from BVS "People hate what they don't like understand" . For me the best of Nolan , no doubts! Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Speechless Masterpiece! Its a top tier Chris Nolan movie the vision and execution were bigger. the music by Ludwig was literally spine chilling it was intense and awesome specially the reverse tracks were mind-blowing. the plot was confusing and complex as hell as it was said in movie don't try to understand it feel it. I did same and literally people were scratching heads while I Enjoyed the movie it was a magic. Literally for me its the best Imax Experience ever. from the moment the movie starts from then to end I don't even want to blink for a sec it was that awesome. the pacing was like butter it was smooth and brilliant, the starting intro with little comedy was surprising and the overall 1st half was good but when 2nd half was started literally The words are undiscovered to speak about this movie it was literally a Mind-blowing experience the way they connected plots and links with addition to awesome detailing it was fascinating. the action from start to end was god tier it was brilliant and the overall complex plot watching without paying attention to details make it simple understanding it was like once u start paying attention it was that complex and detail the brain feels the flexes but watching just like that feels badass and brilliantly fascinating it will be like didn't understand a thing but still its a masterpiece. the acting was Legendary John-David-Washington was badass, Elizabeth was stunning, Kenneth was Brilliant, Dimple-Kapadiya was surprisingly amazing and Rob-Pattinson was Heart and soul he was literally amazing specially at end the whole mystery was literally ground-breaking and at same time it was emotionally amazing. Overall the editing and production design was literally nail-bitingly awesome the inverted fight/chase and "stalsk 12" fight scenes was like how the hell they edited that thing it was literally the G.O.A.T scenes in action history. the cinematography was stunning, music, direction, acting, action,Plot and Concepts of time inversion, entropy the grand father paradox and all it was like Nolan played with his fav toy "Time" it was mind-blowing, The whole movie is a Never seen before experience Literally many re-watches needed to understand it fully. Its a Epic God tier Pure Masterpiece movie!

2nd Experience : It was much clear concept and story made sense, The James bond ish 1st half and inception ish 2nd half with it the reverse concept it was just mind-blowingly cool. The protagonists name and his identity about he recuriting niel and his mission felt clear, the temporal pincer character Apperances doubts are cleared and the whole concept of time and all that too were cleared, The sator's idealogy makes him awesome antagonist and the ending it was just brilliant. The overall movie is just a Creative Masterpiece!

While core components of the time travel logic in this film are relatively novel and themselves interesting, this logic and foundation is completely cast aside at every point throughout the movie. I don't think I have ever watched a film that is more internally inconsistent with the in-universe rules it establishes. By all appearances the plot is held together solely by scenes brainstormed in the writing room around the idea of "cool things that could happen if time went backwards".

I can tolerate a film leaving me in the dark for a long period (even right till the very end if the plot warrants it), I also enjoys twists and concede many films improve with a second watch. However, I cannot tolerate a movie being so deliberately opaque in storytelling that at 90 minutes in the viewer still has no clue what is happening *and* never gets a decent explanation. These early acts do not instil curiosity and a desire for an answer, only frustration and confusion. This issue is only compounded by the inaudible dialogue that plagues most scenes. It's not clever storytelling to not give your audience any indication of what is going on in a story, it's contemptuous of their time, money and attention. The spectacle and novelty of the original concept are it's only saving graces. The performances are mostly underwhelming, the overall plot fairly uninspired and score passable. Your attention to detail and desire to understand the world and story will not be rewarded but mocked, if you are watching this based on trust in Nolan from his previous works he will make you regret it over an agonising two and a half hours. I do not reccomend this film.

This movie has a great break-in scene, lots of fights, and some satisfying moments where confusing events become clear.

Unfortunately, the plot is super confusing. So much so that at points I just gave up on figuring it out and kept watching. It's also 2.5 hours long. The soundtrack is incredibly average. I think they recycled the Inception soundtrack, added a few foghorns and called it a day. David Washington's character alternates from having no idea what's going on to being ultra confident and competent, and it's jarring.

I think you'll enjoy this if you want action more than plot.

That's how bad it was in every single other way to alienate me. It's unapologetically confusing, and as usual, some people conflate that with "challenging". No, MOMENTO was challenging. This is just a mess. Tenet's plot, dialog and character motivations feel like Nolan grabbed a fistful of those poetry magnets and hurled them at the refrigerator door. Whatever stuck is what's on the screen. It's loud and bombastic. Sometimes in amazing ways and unacceptable in other ways. I don't need to go into the dialog - you've already heard the complaints - but it's as bad as you've read. Don't guess, don't try. Just turn on the subtitles if you're convinced you absolutely must see this terrible way to spend 200 million dollars.

The action scenes all suck because it looks like literally any other action movie when you press the Rewind button on your remote. This was a cute gimmick when I was 5 and playing with the VCR. How Nolan thought this cheap, B-movie "special effect" was appropriate for a film of this scale is just mind-boggling. It caused me to completely check out of most of the action scenes, especially when you consider if you can go back in time knowing exactly how the future will play out, you could mount attacks millimeters from your enemies. You could mount attacks INSIDE their bodies that will appear out of time in the right moments. So Nolan, who has a rep for science fiction which is scientifically-plausible, used a cheap gimmick which doesn't even stand up to the most basic scrutiny. The cardboard cutouts...er... characters are beautiful but empty. Like a collection of NPCs in a video game. Their dialog feels like it was written by a dollar store AI. You don't get to know the characters and you don't even feel anything about them. They're so wooden and mechanical they contribute to how this film does everything in its power to not immerse you.

I decided to just gut it out to the end, but with half an hour to go, I was thoroughly bored. At least when a dialog-heavy drama bores you to tears they'll at least lull you to sleep. Tenet simultaneously makes you crave a long nap but it's bombastic audio and explosions don't allow it. It's almost like a kind of sleep torture.

Fanboys are trying desperately to extract something transcendent and so genius that only watching it 12 times begins to reveal it. When Nolan's own fans have to mentally water torture themselves to appreciate this film, you know there's trouble.

Hopefully, the time travel mcguffin at the center of TENET will one day exist so we can all go back in time and warn our past sells to stay the hell away from this time turkey.

There's no character growth and no mystery to anyone whatsoever. Nolan has obviously focused too much on the complexity of the story instead of character development.

Not even worth watching really because you have to sit there paying attention and thinking the entire time, and get no rest mentally. This isn't entertainment, this is information overload. Inception's story was the best balance between action, drama, and complexity. Interstellar was second as it had lots more action and less drama, and this would be in last place out of all his movies - even lower than Dunkirk.

The dialogue in Tenet is much like the positive reviews for the movie; So desperate to offer insight, and meaning, that they go on for twice as long as they should, only to find they have still said nothing worth hearing.
Unfortunately, Tenet is mostly empty dialogue, from start to finish. There's a small, interesting idea here. 'Your perspective on time is just one, of many, here, let Nolan show you more.'
It's not unlike, 'what if people could enter and alter your dream? Let Nolan show you more.'
The major difference, here, between Tenet and Inception, is that Inception was a finished script, doubtlessly re-written many times, to ensure it's both legible and fun, all the way through. Tenet has not had even a first of second pass. It has not had a good writer come along and say "Hey, Chris, why are you telling instead of showing. This is boring. Let's start again, without all the exposition that goes nowhere and try and craft a more interesting story around your central concept."
The entire movie feels like Nolan is stuck, writing page, after page, after page of exposition, to try and explain the story to an editor or producer, but they just got so bored, they turned around and said **** it, yeah, sounds great, Chris, do that, I trust you."
The result is massively bad.
Beyond bad, in fact, as it's the first unwatchable film Chris Nolan has made, which makes it disappointing, too. We can only blame ourselves. We thought he was incapable of making a bad movie, just as the studio clearly did, when they let him go ahead with such a poor screenplay.
The truth, of course, is never that complicated.
Sometimes people waffle and don't produce anything worth hearing, no matter who they are.

The plot is borderline incomprehensible and at some point I just had to let it entertain me, while realizing the "world" it tries to establish is scientifically nonsense. Not only that, but the characters try to explain the world with quick, snippy dialogue with barely any details, while talking way too fast...leaving the viewer completely confused. And perhaps worse of all...there is essentially 0 backstory to the main character who goes by the name..."protagonist". Why should I care about this character ? Who is he ? We have 0 answer to these questions, therefore...I do not care much about the character and found myself wanting to fast forward through most of the film as...there was no emotional connection to a single one of the characters. (Dunkirk also had the same problem, and was fatally flawed as a result.) The 2nd half does have some excellent action sequences and almost made me forget how convoluted the plot was. But the first half was brutally incoherent, and not believable, essentially mindless action, and 0 character development (of most characters in the film except only 2 side-characters)...leaves the best I can give the film about a 5/10, and also fatally flawed and alternating between frustrating for much of it and fairly entertaining for the last 30 minutes, for the spectacle of it. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. The novelty of the film wears off when you realize how tedious it is to be understood .

What they did was make a film that was complicated to understand but lacked depth . It makes the audience uninterested knowing that their first watch of the movie is the beginning of many more watches .

I can see how that appeals to people . A mystery to unravel . But there comes a point where the film starts to become anticlimactic .

Towards the end of the film , how the villan is killed is by stalling time by rubbing lotion on his back , also taking numerous showers to make the floor slippery and shooting him . Then proceeding to slide him off with the help of the lotion and slippery wet floor .

This film is the equivalent of art pieces that are suppose to have 'meaning' but instead is just a way to showboat the forced complexity of it .

Christopher Nolan tries to disrupt the linear creative way of making movies by creating complicating stories . The problem is that the stories often lack depth once understood .
You will see this in Dunkirk and Inception . The concept and idea start of good but it descends into what lacks depth . This movie tries hard to set itself apart from other movies . It does it well being unique and original thus explaining the mixed score as no doubt it deserves respect for the creativity . But the film also doesn't respect the viewer's time . You are expected to watch it more than once to truly understand it . You are viewing it for 2 hours + and it is expected that you watch it again via cinema or other ways . The thing is that some people may enjoy that but not everyone does .

The lack of depth in the overcomplicating story of Tenet doesn't justify understanding the story .

Is this worth your time ? That is up to you to decide . I'm sure some may have wished that could have inversed to 2 hours ago after finishing watch this film .

*Too Long Didn't Read* (TLDR) : Film concept and idea is amazing but not a film for everyone.

Worst crime - it’s actually boring and completely lacking anything that can be emotionally engaged with. The protagonist is literally just that - a vehicle to push the narrative along... or should I say exposition. There are only a few bright spots of energy is this movie - but regretfully, they are hamstrung by the framework he set - simultaneously pulling their dramatic punches, and at the same time turning into its own meme. This is one of those movies (like Us) which deserves a really cool 15 minute student film... but unfortunately was funded for a feature length (and in the case of Tenet - grossly over-funded).

The central ‘tenet’ of the movie actually fundamentally doesn’t make sense - even internally. Once you realise it’s all fluff, and no substance, the curtain of Nolan’s deceit is pulled back to leave only an underwhelming self-indulgence that has an almost complete lack of humanity. No one actually acts / reacts like a real person... something that was desperately needed in this wholly unrealistic and ungrounded film-school SciFi concept piece.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I was able to watch this movie through - which is why it gets a 5. I didn't like the start of the movie and only the 10/10 reviews on line stopped me from turning it off - maybe it gets better? The pacing was all off... Too much, too quickly.. guy hears about "inversion" and now everyone he talks to knows about it. The inversion concept was a cool idea but executed poorly... why do some parts happen backwards and others happen forwards? I can see all these reviews online 10/10 - if you don't like it you don't understand it - tripe. I am the protagonist and I can see what this movie was trying to do and it fails to deliver. If you can get past the first 45-60 minutes its easier to watch the rest. Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. First off! This movie tries to trick you. But not due to its time inversion. But with the movies break neck pace. You may watch this abs go, why is the editing so bad? Why are characters running from one scene to another without establishing shots?
This is all intentional. Usually in stories “characters” push the plot forward. But since this movie lacks characterization. The only way Nolan can push the story forward is by speeding everything up. That’s why it seems like characters are always running and why there’s no establishing shots.

Also this film is very pretentious. It seems like Nolan made it not for a theatre viewing experience. But so that amateur film critics could snobbishly pick this film apart. And yes, the time traveling doesn’t make any sense. There’s more holes in this than Bonnie and Clyde abs their car combined. Like for instance. If the protagonist can clearly see he’s fighting himself. Than why would he try to shoot at himself? If a person is inverted why do they need a special mask with oxygen? If that’s the case gravity would be backwards the sun would be backwards if oxygen is inverted than so would everything else.

Also all the actors give great performances except for the Russian guy? Was he really Russian? I don’t know. But you can tell they weren’t given anything to work with. Also Nolan needs to go back to film school to learn what “show don’t tell” means This movie is basically 3 hours of exposition 4 fight scenes and good but obnoxious music.

I also read in a video that Nolan made the conscious choice to make some of the dialogue unintelligible. Smh if you have a movie that is 3 hours of exposition. Don’t punish the audience by making a 3rd of it inaudible. That’s like inviting someone to dinner, but making them pay for you both. Also the lack of blood really makes it hard to believe what’s going on in this movie. There doesn’t need to be buckets of gore. But realism in films like this is important. It breaks the immersion when a film is bloodless. Finally, and I covered it a bit up there

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Christopher Nolan has done movies explaining concepts of space (Interstellar), dreams (Inception) and society (The Dark Knight Trilogy). This time he made a movie on time. Although I like the fact that he made a movie about time travellers which is nothing like what we would have done if we were given a chance, it wasn't done properly. A lot of people who are writing praises for this movie are accusing the critics of not being able to understand the concept of the movie. It's not that people don't understand the concept; sometimes the rules of the universe are established and then they themselves are not being followed.

Think about it. If suppose someone is being shot. So they get hit with the bullet and then they bleed. Simple, right? Now think of this in reverse. They will have to stop bleeding and then the bullet will pass through them. But in this movie they bleed AFTER the bullet passes through them, as though their blood is being affected by the reverse bullet. It would have made sense if this was said at some point but it isn't. I'm giving the example of the gunfire because that's about half the scenes in this movie. The car chase scenes, however, were done absolutely correctly. The sailing of the ships, the explosions, the part where The Protagonist meets himself, everything was done in absolute perfection.

There were many times when the movie brought up things that were never talked about later. The movie began with a scene about an anti-terror squad to show the protagonist. But this was never brought up ever again. They said they need to have committed an act for the positive entropy to work, but most of the times they don't do those acts, especially in the fight scenes or the ending when Kat shoots Sator. Neil is said to have come from the future, but he doesn't act in reverse the way other people from the future do.

Filmmaking should always follow the rule of "show, don't tell", which this movie had to continuously violate because of how complicated it was. This is a movie that was too complex even for Christopher Nolan, such that even the ordinary audience can easily pinpoint the mistakes. He bit a lot bigger than he could chew. Let's hope the next time he makes a movie that is complex to look at but easy to grip over like how Inception or The Dark Knight were.

The directing is in his usual style, although this time with less flare, given the environment. The plot is possibly one the most complex he has ever made, perhaps even a tad too much this time. But at least he tries hard to make you think while watching the movie and in the days afterwards. Acting was a mixed bag, sometimes I felt it a bit jarring. If I had to find a nuisance, compared to the other Nolan movies, the usual mandatory rewatching to understand completely the first viewing, wasn’t as enjoyable as usual, mainly because this time the complexity of the story felt more like a puzzle to solve. On one hand, Chris Nolan presented a film with incredible set pieces that would have wowed audiences in the IMAX crowd. Yet, it is a film of incredible complexity, explained by dialogue that were obscured by the typical "Nolan sound mixing". It is literally impossible to comprehend the flick without any subtitles. As such, having watched it at home, I could simply pause the film..rewind and see the portions that were difficult to understand. Can you do that in the cinemas? No, you can't. Having Nolan huffing and puffing to Warner Bros for releasing day to date their future movies on their streaming services meant that his reasoning to force WB to release it would involve a bit of his own ego (?). As such, this was not up to par with most of his projects (I would grade this higher than Insomnia, but lower than the Prestige in term of his works). Its box office under performance all over the world may be the reason WB radically changed their release strategy in 2021, changing moviegoing for good. Expand

Tenet has a pretty straightforward premise: A super agent called Protagonist has to stop an evil mastermind to begin World War III, it is kind of a 007 movie. What is not straightforward is everything in between.

The movie presents us with a reversing time mechanic which it's a pretty neat idea, it also is not as hard to grasp, but it is shown and explained so many times in different and convoluted ways that it ends up being confusing. At first, it's introduced as something you can do with "reversed" items, but after that, it appears that they forgot this, and then it is more like you need a machine to get in that state. The reversing rules feel like they are ever bending, and here lies the main problem with this film: it is always on shaky ground. As aforementioned, Nolan does dense movies that anyone can watch and enjoy, but this comes with the problem of when is too much exposition? When it's better to let go of your audiences a little? It's obvious that he didn't trust the audience would get the reversing thing so he ended over-explaining it and ultimately that decision backfired. It doesn't help that most of this exposition it's given to us in the most basic forms: characters explaining it to other characters while walking or eating at a table, this happens many times throughout the movie to the point of it becoming repetitive device. It is worth noting that a lot of dialogue it's eaten by loud sounds and noise from the background, this can become an annoyance since it is easy to lose track of the plot with these auditive obstacles, some people are theorizing about this high noise being intentional, and that might be true as it's unlikely for a director so invested in sound would let this slide up, still it's bothersome and if that's true it is a terrible gimmick to add re-watch value to the movie.

The rhythm of the film can be off, but it is never dull or boring, even with the things mentioned before. As an action movie, it is great on its action scenes since they get pretty creative with the reversing, the only bad thing about them is the final set-piece. It's an incredibly choreographed scene with lots of stakes and dynamism, yet, it is stained by these double simultaneous fights where another character is doing something more uninteresting with allegedly higher stakes, but at the same time, they felt lower.

Most of the cast is pretty solid, and the characters are likable. John David Washington as Protagonist and Robert Pattinson as Niel are pretty good, they are charisma walking machines, however, the one performance that I liked the most it's from Elizabeth Debicki, her character is the only one with a more definite arc, and it also displays a wide range of emotions through the movie, I can see how this character could not work with another actor, but Debicki fleshed her up extremely well. On the other hand, the antagonist played by Kenneth Branagh didn't work for me, he is a great actor, yet the decisions made surrounding his character are way too cartoony for his good.

Tenet is an unnecessarily convoluted movie filled with exposition dialogue but fun action scenes. As with other Nolan movies, this one has a rewatching value, I can see how someone would pass over a second glance, but to me, I could have a second view because as flawed as it is, it's entertaining from the start to finish.

I mean they can show man beating his wife or threatening him beating her with a belt and other stuff but that is ok as long as you don't swear and show no blood. Do not waste your time on this film it is easily Nolans worst. Expand

Tenet Review

I was always a fan of Christopher Nolan and Tenet does not disappoint at all. It is an interesting movie, but it is a little undercooked and served undone. The main problem with this movie is that the premise involves a serious level of intellectual brain power to comprehend, second by second, as the director intends, but it is executed sloppily in general. The narrative devolves into clear funding issues in production, a lack of evolving and branching narrative arches and storylines, diversions into time, expanding and branching in and out of time, inverting every possible frame of the movie somehow relative to the narrative.

This movie was an interesting “prototype” concept for a movie that could have been a lot better honestly.

It’s a 7/10 from me.

Tenet is my favorite movie of 2020. It is Christopher Nolan at his best. And yes, another movie that plays with time. Perfection.

The only reason I gave it a point was because the actors did a good job. Other then that boring and a mess. I don't recommend you rent or buy. Sad I was looking forward to seeing this movie and was extremely disappointed by the results.

Another Christopher Nolan Masterpiece.

The first half of the movie is kinda boring but once the second half kicks off it’s great and the different time travel plot points that occur in the second half with the airport and freeway are really great. The finale was amazing I thought it was really well done with a lot of tension and really cool plot twist, and the ending talk with Neil and the protagonist....Damm that was trippy. Definitely give this one a watch.

In this tragic moment, the entertainment industry is innovating solutions at an alarming pace to keep the tons of money that keep it floating. A shameful reality of an essential art. In the middle of the storm is Nolan, hugging “Tenet” as a big hope for cinema.
The first highlight is the music. The first collaboration between Nolan and Ludwig Goransson creates an aura that superbly complements the narrative speed and tension. A beautiful work by Goransson. The festival of visual effects and the complexity of the concept will captivate the public in different forms. This is not his best visual work, but there is a sense of bravery and intellect in the mechanics of the whole film. I appreciated this as much as the strong bond between the visual and the narrative. Nolan explores a conception of time and space sufficiently complex to assimilate, and that is appreciated the strong coherence between the image of space and the narrative time. The authenticity, freshness, and complexity of the script might compromise the public, especially due to the speed at which the events happens, but I take it as a mental ability exercise that, with attention and a critical mind, the resolutions will stimulate the concentrated ones. About the acting, there is not much drama. But the tension that is accomplished is adequate and derives from the interaction between the delusion of greatness of Kenneth Branagh and the resentment of Elizabeth Debicki. Apart from this, the characters have personality and attitude, and the promptness of the chemistry between John David Washington and Robert Pattison facilitates the focus to the goal. “Tenet” is an experience that is worth a lot. Amidst its complexity, there is a very interesting show to watch and, even though we may have to go back to the film several times to find some answers, it will always be a journey full of excitement and surprises.

Quantum science allows assumptions on how time flow could be manipulated in a future reality. But this is completely fictional. Time flow in this movie is how the writers/Nolan needed it to be to create a complicated, mystical and multi-layered plot and its fictional world. The problem here is that this is the only reason for playing with the audience's state of expectations and understanding. Just like with any plot armor, this makes me feel frustrated and I can't relate to any of the motivations, background, and characters. Unlike Oblivion with its dream world, which was scientifically reasonable and also relatable to anyone who knows the nature of dreams, this movie doesn't have what makes an Aha moment. Good scenery and cinematics don't make a good story. Unnecessary complication and mystification doesn't make a good story. Expand

Stunning visuals.... That's the only redeeming factor of this movie. It does look amazing, with stunning cinematography and some unbelievable action sequences. Everything else though... Utter crap.
About an hour into the film I had to pause it, grab my phone, and see if perhaps my copy had some issue with the sound mix. You could barely hear what anyone was saying, and at various times I had to jump on the volume button of my remote because some scenes were incredibly loud.
Turns out my copy was fine, and the unintelligible dialogue and volume 'jumps' were a purposeful choice by the Director, and that it actually caused problems when the film was shown in the cinema!
Being unable to discern what anyone is saying ruins the film, what plot/exposition I could glean from hearing every fourth word spoken (at best) means I had no idea what was happening.
Again, it was wonderful to look at, but impossible to understand.
Another result of this, I couldn't really get an idea of how well anyone was acting. Characterisations were impossible to realise, as well as formulating any sense of motivation.

Ultimately it's a film I watched all the way through, but won't watch again (unless a cut comes out with the sound mix drastically improved!), it was just two and half hours of my life I won't be getting back!

At first I was blown away by the sound, with a great system it rattles through the whole place (that would have been really great in the cinema). When it came to the sound, I thought to myself "Wait a minute, that sounds familiar, somehow like Mandalorian" ... after the film, I took a quick look and you read Ludwig Göransson, great.

I liked the cinematic representation of the film very much, it all looks really strong and offers impressive images. Acting is also absolutely delivered here.

Regarding the actual story, I'll just say that I basically liked it, but didn't pull up any trees. It was very exciting in most parts (the intro is really blatant) and tied you to the chair. But every now and then I had the feeling that the film was languishing for a few minutes. Over time, the whole topic was "complex" networked, but I missed the "WTF moments" a bit, but there were nice brackets.

Overall, absolutely to be recommended, preferably with a good system. 8/10 inversions.
