Whatever this movie is, I would say ''heck no''! I wouldn't get this movie if I were you.

Wow - definitely not in the same league as his father. It's a little sad that Ursula Guin gave permission thinking H Miyazaki would direct and then it was handed to his son. Really pretty disloyal to the books - Better if you had never readWow - definitely not in the same league as his father. It's a little sad that Ursula Guin gave permission thinking H Miyazaki would direct and then it was handed to his son. Really pretty disloyal to the books - Better if you had never read them as the movie essentially contains the names of the same characters but the details and characteristics are all changed as if G Miyazaki never read the books to prepare.

Even if you throw out the connection to U Guin's amazing series the movie is still boring and reorts to cheap violence. Probably not very good for young kids unlike all the other really great Ghibli releases...

Pass this turd up!

Boring, flat, zero character development, zero explanation of all the things happened in the movie. It doesn’t matter though, cuz we all didn’t give a damn since you would feel NOTHING about all of them.
Wasting my 2 hours and it’s definitely

Wasting my 2 hours and it’s definitely not as good as the classic Miyazaki movies.........
I missed the spirit away and totoro.

If you enjoy the writing in Kingdom Hearts and haven't seen a single other Studio Ghibli film you might enjoy this.

The film is pretensious and takes itself too seriously. The plot is completely unfocused and at many moments simply dumb. Definitely the worst Ghibli movie I have ever seen. I have wasted 2 hours of my life. Don't make the same mistake.
