Summary:
Surviving Peace delves deeply into the core issues driving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. It challenges the conventional wisdom about the underlying reasons for the conflict and what solutions may be possible. The film is an attempt to encourage new and fresh thinking for peace. Surviving Peace features candid interviews with Israeli and Palestinian leaders, government officials and thinkers, some of whom deliver startling admissions. It also gives voice to the opinions and prejudices of private citizens on both sides. The film asks why the Israelis and the Palestinians- both extremely resourceful and innovative people in every other field of endeavor- suffer from the stagnation of thinking and lack of imagination and innovation when it comes to living in peace.
