Yes, it’s about the tools and the vulnerability but to me Stutz is really about friendship.

what struck me as something strange, despite being sure that Stutz is a charming character, was that I am not sure if the Doctor Patient relationship shown here, in a film that proposes to present a "Stutz method" is minimally ethical andwhat struck me as something strange, despite being sure that Stutz is a charming character, was that I am not sure if the Doctor Patient relationship shown here, in a film that proposes to present a "Stutz method" is minimally ethical and professional; people should not look for a new friend in their analysts, the relationship between the two should never culminate in a mutual "I love you" as we see in the film. Incredible movie, if you believe in introspective analysis. Really helped me understand a lot of things that happened through my life and how to work with the tools this movie provides.

This is a wonderful movie and an effective therapy treatment for anyone who is open to it. I am a mental health counselor who had never heard of Phil Stutz. Also, he and Jonah Hill reveal themselves and their lives in ways that are both touching and helpful in applying Stutz's philosophy.
