Striptease is a 1996 erotic/drama/comedy/thriller... The nudity is awesome but the problem with this film is not the women dancing whilst stripping because that's the best parts of the movie. Robert Patrick's performance was annoying as hell and the only performance I liked was Demi Moore's acting ability so not the best film but I gave it a 6 rating only because of the beautiful Demi Moore. Demi Moore getting naked and the women stripping to me is the only real reason to watch this movie and is the only real highlight in the film and Burt Reynolds comes off as unfunny and a desperate pervert of a congressman but still fairly decent only because of the nudity and Demi Moore. The rest is stupid.… Expand

Striptease is a mixed bag of enjoyment. Some of the movie is worth watching as another reviewer has mentioned. The other parts of the movie do not gel with the watchable segments. This is Demi's weakest movie yet she keeps the film watchable through her performance.

Completely unfunny and mostly unsexy as well, Burt Reynolds performance as the over-the-top corrupt, incompetent Congressman is the one real highlight. Everything else, just forget it.
