This is such a complex film that tackles the racism, missing children, human trafficking, family issues and overall talks about a broken society.

Is an intense film that makes you have empathy and takes you through many moments that will get you. In so many ways you feel close to this characters, as if they are real. Is beautiful a piece of art and would love to see it again.

Excellent movie and actors. The father really played his role. All the actors were great. Police scenes are like it is currently.

This was such a true an awesome movie. This is Movie gave us a great example of how the police doesn't put in enough time into searching for little Black & Brown children that is missing. This case would have been solved in less then a week if the cops would have search harder. The actors was so good Maurice McRae and Jimmy Whitworth are excellent actors and Zariah Singletary was so adorable. I"m going to watch this movie again. Expand

I was not expecting the deep and restless feelings this story awakened in me. This story touches subjects such as racism, human trafficking, police abuse and ignorance of so called “normal people”. It’s social impact especially in the light of the social events we all live and experience this days makes “Still Here” feel more real than ever. 100% must see movie! Expand

Fantastic acting and strong raw story. The entire cast is wonderful but the mother (Afton Williamson) and the father (Maurice McRae) are giving a brilliant performance. Zazie Beetz has a short appearance.

Very much enjoyed this film which treats a hard topic that can not be more relevant in today's climate.

It comes across as another excuse to push the agenda of the unhelpful law and its big bad white guy type policing...offering little more than supposition to back up its accusations. Then, as if attempting to add some form of balance, one of the white detectives is shown in a detailed scene having an unexplained change of heart – but, his epiphany results in changing nothing, next we see of him he’s right back to his nasty ol self. These types of character inconsistencies continue across the board. Several performances belong to the over the top school of expression – while some of this might sometimes work, overall, it’s ultimately tiresome. The story is claimed as based on facts but these ‘facts’ tend to come across as manufactured and mostly unbelievable (especially the resolution). Pity, as it offers the odd good line, and might have been better if given a sure-handed approach. A pile-on of endless foul language adds nothing to the general proceedings. Expand
