Great Shatner tie-in. I would have liked to have gotten away from the ill-fitting Voyager uniforms, but they were pushed into that one. Great use of Guinan. All in all, maintained the vibe of TNG very well, while adding a little more flash.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This is definitely one of the more underrated Star Trek films. I get it, Data is super obnoxious, the film does always make sense, and they kill off Kirk. Now it was ambitious to kill him off, but they did it all wrong, I mean his last words are that was fun, oh my. I seriously was thinking to myself during that scene, was oh my really has two words, what?! And then Picard just buries him under some rocks on that planet. I'm like really, you don't bury the most famous Star Fleet Captain under some rocks on some random planet, take him back to Star Fleet and give him a proper burial and funeral. Picard really?! All this pushed to the side, Generations is still a very entertaining and kind of poignant film at times. It has some of the best Star Trek action scenes, including a fantastic crash sequence. It also has an intriguing plot, even if it doesn't make sense all the time. This also has one of the best openings to a Star Trek film in my opinion. So, in my opinion, Generations is pretty underrated and a pretty solid Star Trek film. B… Expand

Somewhat Mind-blowing and Decently Awesome movie!Its an entertaining Adventure!The music was phenomenal specially at Nexus it was great,the story was decent and awesome as per the soft-reboot continuing with Legacy!the visuals were good and the characters they were Great the whole crew and Data with awesome Captain "Picard" they were amazing,the whole movie has many flaws yet overall its an entertaining and Mind-blowing as per its central theme,the Time,feelings,mortality,Emotions and obeying of Duty it was all amazingly showcased!The starting Intro with Enterprise and Cap Kirk's reunion in ship as a guest it was amazing the ship and ship's condition with captain and his "Tuesday" joke in upside down situation and Sulu's daughter meeting with Old Crew it was awesome!the whole Red-alert situation and the Kirk's disappearance was shocking and then the time-jump and the intro to enterprise in ocean it was mind-blowing the new crew and the Captain Picard's Obsession with Old Times the Sea Ship and freedom it was amazing,Then the situation of the Picard's personal lose and his conversation with counselor was emotionally strong and the other side the space station situation and 1st meet with Survivor of Kirk's ship incident "the doctor" it was amazing.the whole plot from then on is very fast and quick he's plan of stealing some weapon and all it felt really unnecessary although the whole planning of him and Klingon to defeat star-ship by kidnapping engineer it was awesome,the Data "Android" his entry with Humour thing and through-out the movie his Obsession with feelings resulting in Emotion's chip implementation and his state of feeling things Fear and regret not saving engineer it was amazing the conversation of Captain Picard and him "learn to Integrate fear and regret in life" it was really strong and awesome!the whole plan of Doctor and Klingon the Nexus reality thing it was Mind-blowing!after that the whole plan reveal of them to Captain and fight of Klingon and Star-ship for just little while it was awesome then the Doctor's Implementing plan in Planet and Picard's conversations about time with him it was mind-blowing "the predator" reference was awesome!then the whole last 30 mins it was surprisingly Brilliant the destruction of star-ship and whole planet and Picard in "the Nexus" thing it was Mind-blowing the Realization of Picard about reality and his shocking meeting with Cap Kirk it was awesome!Then the ending with Changing Time and defeating Doctor with Odd Death of Cap Kirk it was little Disappointing but amazing,Overall the plot has awesome potential and somethings were Mind-blowing specially the themes it was strong but many things felt flawed and little unusual,its an Decently Entertaining Movie!… Expand
