While the story seems interesting enough, the characters are not believable, and their behavior inconsistent. Initially touted to be a reformed criminal, Mr. Adkins quickly changes his tune when required by the classic western trope around which this film is based. His crew also shift loyalty frequently; there are necessary details not fleshed out on screen and often times characters seem to know information that they would have no way of finding out (or at least the film lacks the necessary exposition). Unfortunately their director also can't seem to decide on a timeline for the film, using no fewer than 3 time changes throughout the film, and breaking it entirely shortly before the film's climax due to (as mentioned above) a detail magically appearing on screen that was neither explained nor suspected. With better sequencing and dialogue the story is unique enough to be noteworthy, but with inconsistent characters, poorly made action effects and 6/10 acting at best this ends up being a lukewarm and noticeably low budget attempt. Mr. Adkins, if you see this, you're a good singer and an alright actor (Hickok wasn't bad), but this wasn't your strongest work. Expand
