The fact that James McAvoy wasnt nominated for an Oscar for this performance is exactly why you can take the academy's word for anything. Great acting, good plot and an amazing twist

Fragmentado foi uma surpresa positiva eu ri demais quando meu amigo falou o slogan do filme: Esse homem tem 24 personalidades e uma delas é o M O N S T R O. Meme demais ta maluco, mas dei uma chance e n é que é legal mesmo o monstro kkkkkkk. Curti demais o ponto alto do filme é a sequência do monstro todo escroto com veia saltando escalando parede top demais divertido. Gostei tb dele ter matado as menina inutil la nem sei como ficaram viva o filme inteiro e a veia descendo la ta doido era pra morrer memo. Gostei da proposta e o professor xavier jovem careca mandou bem na atuação… Expand

THE GOOD: James McAvoy's range in Split is amazing. I won't forget some of his face expressions. Shyamalan does a good job building suspense and placing the camera on the right spots. Also nice pacing and score.

I enjoyed the movie a lot, I have seen it 2 times, last time I saw the entire Unbreakable trilogy one after the other. I would say it's the weakest of them just because I don't really like scary movies. The film effectively creates a sense of danger and claustrophobia by alternating between the bunker and the offices of the girls' therapist. James McAvoy gives a standout performance as the captor, Kevin, showcasing his ability to convey different states of mind. The plot is a typical thriller, with moments of good thought and compelling scenes. However, the final act falls short, shifting towards a superhero theme and leaving some plot points unresolved. Overall, Split is a return to form for Shyamalan and sets up potential for more in this saga, with McAvoy's performance being a highlight.
