As they said in Used Cars, "That Metascore is just too damned high!" Not a whole lot happens in this film - it's a glorified after-school special, and then it does something a movie should NEVER do - it builds up a final scene, with aAs they said in Used Cars, "That Metascore is just too damned high!" If I was probably thinking what normally everyone would be thinking, maybe Sleight would have received another chance and gained a higher score, but my opinion differs too anyways. This movie had so much potential. The movie had me hooked the whole time waiting for someone badass showdown but its like the movie ultimately built up to nothing. It was like watching lord of the rings without any of the action. It's veryThis movie had so much potential. It definitely has certain very interesting virtues but in the end it does not end up living up to what it builds and ends up being a film too practice to excel.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Not really original, but acting is good and the story is well told. Problems for me: too slow, I reached a point were I had to fast forward scenes too slow or unimportant. The interesting stuff happens the last 5 minutes of the whole movie!! Plus, some nonsense here and there. Mainly, the Boss, Angelo: there is no hint in the movie he is anything more than a tiny drug dealer with 2 or 3 dumb henchmen. He's not the mob! Just call the police, frame him with drugs and get it over with! Last but no least, I literally hated the ending.… Expand
