A film you just can't help fall in love with. John Carney really gets this genre. The way he takes this young man's journey and ties it into this band is incredible. A real must see film. A

It's even difficult to find a satisfying way to describe how beautiful this film is. The music gets you, the message is clear and efficiently delivered.

Sing Street looks great to live in not just because it's a great movie, it shows how dramatic this movie can be. Be prepared to listen to its songs though. Opinions can be opinionated.

A charming coming-of-age film where the 1980s time period is as much a character as it is the setting. John Carney continues to blend music and reality extremely well.

This movie is a the best romance i've ever seen. it's musical it' makes you laugh it makes you cry.
and it's also historical it brings you to 30 or 40 years ago as a high school teenager.
I recommend everyone to see it.

Best feel good movie you will see this year. Actually one of the most enjoyable films i have seen in years. You will be captured from opening until close. Oscar worthy soundtrack and the cast was adorable. Nailed it.

A high-flying modern musical whose ballad of reckless optimism does not come without darker undertones. And one hell of a soundtrack. It's a joyous film deserving of multiple viewings.

Sing Street is one of the best Irish films ever made. While it does favour style over substance at times, and features some clichés, it makes up for this with a great cast and music.

If you've ever seen the excellent movie "The Commitments" you don't really need to see this one. It's like an awkward tween version of that far better film. Might be suitable for middle schoolers who loved Glee, but otherwise?

I must be a stick in the mud. I thought the story line was too far out, the family situation was the only touch of reality in the movie, the rest, someone's teenage imagination of real life.

Familiar concept, excellent execution. Sing Street has a sweet central romance with likable characters, great performances and incredible music that's sure to stick with you and have you singing it for a long time.

The movie is really awesome, with a lot of emotion and memories of your childhood, when you wanted have a band with your friends and take to the girl of your dreams.

A fun, silly movie that packs a surprisingly emotional touch. Music fit the film well. Actors well cast. The touching older sibling relationship steals the show.

If you are in the mood for some cutesy escapism look no further than Sing Street. It's a very sweet movie with great songs and nods to the 80s musical scene, but it did go overboard with its fluffiness for my taste.

I didn't expect a lot of this movie, but it did a good job. A very enjoyable teenager story set in the world of 80s rock music. Very touching and funny. Great songs.

A moving film with a lot of great original songs. The one thing I didn't like that much was the romance.
Also, Some moments towards the end feel kinda unearned
