The Dramatic aspects are lacking but overall Scarface is meant to entertain like any viable film. An overrated movie with way too much time on it's hands. Literally. The screenplay by Oliver Stone boasts big twists, but instead delivers vulgarities that only increase the crudeness of the film, not the quality.

One of the most overrated films of all time. For people that set out to glorify this lifestyle, there are much better films out there to be attracted towards (Goodfellas, for one). There are times it comes across like it's begging to beOne of the most overrated films of all time. For people that set out to glorify this lifestyle, there are much better films out there to be attracted towards (Goodfellas, for one). There are times it comes across like it's begging to be parodied (how often do you hear "say hello to my little friend?"). Every now and then, Oliver Stone's script shines and Al Pacino does his best, but ultimately, I believe, it falls flat.… Expand
