Satanic Hispanics attempts to bring authentic Latin folklore to modern horror audiences and boasts great doses of monsters and gore. Unfortunately it’s also held back by some uneven storytelling and humor that doesn’t always land. Read full review

The problem is that the films, which are in Spanish and English, rely on typical horror movie stuff — a haunted house, angry ghosts, shape shifters, tableaus of corpses — to lift scripts that are across the board mediocre.
