In his autobiography, I am Jackie Chan: My life in Action, Jackie Chan talked about the initial difficulty of filming a movie in Vancouver, British Columbia that is set in New York City. The production team initially had to put up fake graffiti during the day, and take it all down during the evening, while simultaneously making sure that no mountains made it into the background. However, Chan decided that it was best that the production team focus on the action only, without worrying too much about scenery. Viewers have noted mountains in the background, which doesn't exist in the New York City landscape.… Expand

Certes, c'est une habitude chez lui mais tout de même !

La réalisation est soignée et permet d'apprécier à leur juste valeur les péripéties de l'acteur avec en bonus annexe (on ne la voit pas autant qu'on le voudrait) la brillante Anita Mui. Bien que perfectible, un divertissement qui reste d'une belle qualité.… Expand

watching it you deeply desire to know more about the person the movie is about. Man on the Moon did this for me. It gave me a deep desire to learn more about Andy Kaufman and a want to have witnessed the man before his demise (or is he stillwatching it you deeply desire to know more about the person the movie is about. It gave me a deep desire to learn more about Andy Kaufman and a want to have witnessed the man before his demise (or is he still around somewhere still pulling pranks? ;) Whatever the reality is Carrey gave a performance of the life time, I can't say he portrayed Kaufman perfectly as I never really witnessed anything Andy had ever done, but if he was as Jim Carrey portrayed him than I am sure he was brilliant. Bravo to Jim and bravo Man on the Moon a movie for anyone who appreciates good drama, comedy, and a person who was so revolutionary in both that he was never was appreciated for what he did but now we can appreciate it.… Expand

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Rumble in the bronx will give you a fantastic time and thats all it needs to do. Is it insane? Yes, its completely insane. It has so much charm but damn it feel like such a mess at times. The highlights of the film are of course its great action sequences especially the market fight scene. The story is stupid but it doesn't matter, the dialogue is dull but it also doesn't matter. If you are looking for dumb fun this is EXACTLY what you are looking for. terrible movie.... 7/10… Expand
