The movie is an over te top blast and flew by. Many of the strong man feats are absolutely insanely over the top, but that just adds to the fun of watching. Engrossing story, well directed and cut and the cultural novelty just make it a more interesting watch. The movie did overstay its welcome by about half an hour and the CGI was quite poor at points. Lastly I personally found it hard to mentally swallow the betrayal of the main protagonists. Nitpicking compared to the fun that it was to watch the spectacle. Go see it!… Expand

I thought it was like a more violent version of John Wick as if directed by Mel Gibson. Could have been edited down to 2 hours fairly easily while keeping the theme that the English in India in the 1920’s were mostly psychopaths andI thought it was like a more violent version of John Wick as if directed by Mel Gibson. I hope that most viewers know that the story is fiction. I did enjoy the special effects, dance numbers and scenery. My first adventure into Tollywood. This is the closest thing I've ever seen to a live-action anime. It's so over the top that I couldnt help but laugh yet was still emotionally invested in the characters. These two were so freakn overpoweredMy first adventure into Tollywood. My only criticism is that this movie was 3 hours, granted a fantastic 3 hours. I am now thirsty for more Tollywood.… Expand

Next, it's an awesome action movie.

Tonally, this movie shouldn't work but it does! It has great storytelling that delivers on the comedy and emotional beats. It also has amazing cinematography and a terrific soundtrack. The action scenes are so amazing and badass. The movie is paced so well, that I forgot it was even 3 hours!

One of the main characters throws a tiger onto someone else and beats up people with a motorcycle! That's enough of a reason to watch RRR!… Expand

This movie is proof that Hollywood does not know how to make entertaining movies. It's imaginative and way over the top which is great. The violence is usually ridiculous and the laughs are hysterical and the politics are right on. The story line is absurd and there is no pretext to appear realistic which is the failure of so many American movies. It's total theater, it's fiction, the acting is great, it's colorful, and that is what makes it a great movie. It's pure entertainment.… Expand
