This movie has a great picture because Rio de Janeiro has the natural beauty ever, but it’s ridiculous how the movie shows an obvious Racial hygiene. Looks like in Rio de Janeiro the population the majority is white. what is not true! Even street boys, who would be children who dreams of having an opportunity, have light skin, its as they dehumanize the black body. They dont see a black street boy as good children without opportunity in life. The three black women in the movie was in stigmatized characters. The housekeeper(maid) being treated as a slave, the girlfriend of boy (sexualized, going to his place to **** him) and the prostitute (Quarrelsome, the angry black Woman and without value in the society). Rio, I love you! Only reinforces a racist stereotype in Brazilian society. … Expand
