Starts out pretty interesting, good even, but towards the ending it just gets so mindlessly dumb it falls short of being even somewhat noteworthy. Hard to rate, depends largely on whether or not the gore appeals to you. As many of critics would say, it's a Rambo movie so don't be so serious. We take it serious because we waited and had high hopes for a new Rambo movie. Aside from violence, the substances that made the old movies great are missing.

A film under any other name would be just as sweet? In this case no. This film really should be lauded for bringing the atrocities in Myanmar/Burma to the general populace... but by veiling it under the name of this tired action franchise it A film under any other name would be just as sweet? This film really should be lauded for bringing the atrocities in Myanmar/Burma to the general populace... but by veiling it under the name of this tired action franchise it turns it into a 'boys film' when what it really should do is be used as a tool to get something done about the crisis. It is one of those films where the graphic nature MAY, just about, justified. However, this does not detract from the fact that Sylvester Stalonne's acting and directing abilities are too wooden for words. Better than Rambos II and III.… Expand

This movie was surprisingly interesting in the begging. when I saw the trailers I'm like ''Tit doesn't seem like anything spacial. Just another violent action movie''. As an action movie it is good. There are plenty of explosions and so forth. But Stallone...he has had two hits his entire career - Rocky and Rambo, and he just never let's up capitalizing on the only things that made money for him. As an action movie it is good. This movie was pretty lame. Another Stallone attempt to become relevant again. In this film, Rambo once again administers lone gunman justice to a mob of one-dimensional asian soldier stereotypes. While it is more contemplative than previous films Rambo is hampered by a wafer-plot and dodgy screenplay. Stallone is good as though.

"Rambo" a.k.a. Rambo 4 was a half-length film, but with much more violence, to which we were accustomed with the character, Sylvester Stallone, the action scenes, and locations were the main feature of the film, the rest should not be formalized.

Rambo 2008 resulto ser un gran bajón a mi parecer. La historia no es tan interesante como las anteriores. El resto de personajes nuevos son muy olvidables y la acción en si llega a ser genérica, demasiado repetitiva y demasiado exagerada. LaRambo 2008 resulto ser un gran bajón a mi parecer. La historia no es tan interesante como las anteriores. El resto de personajes nuevos son muy olvidables y la acción en si llega a ser genérica, demasiado repetitiva y demasiado exagerada. La violencia es tan exagerada que llega incluso a ser irrealista en ocasiones. Sorprendentemente los efectos especiales y los cambios de cámara son incluso peores que las de la trilogía original... Rambo sigue siendo igual de carismático que siempre, y algunas escenas con el si estuvieron a la altura... Algo es algo se podría decir...
Mientras mas pasan las películas de Rambo, siento que la historia se va cada vez dejando de lado para centrarse en la acción. Esa es una de las razones principales por las que creo que la primera es la mejor con diferencia. Rambo 1 logro un perfecto balance entre historia y acción, cosa que esta ni aspira a eso, siendo muy mediocre en ambos aspectos. Sin duda alguna, después de haber visto The Last Blood, puedo decir que Rambo 2008 es la peor de la saga con diferencia.… Expand
