Like the buried ET Atari cartridges (which has been made into a doc also), the young filmmakers who embarked on recreating their favorite movie in the early 80's has taken on a Spielberg-linked legendary status. I read about these young guysLike the buried ET Atari cartridges (which has been made into a doc also), the young filmmakers who embarked on recreating their favorite movie in the early 80's has taken on a Spielberg-linked legendary status. I read about these young guys years ago, and wondered what ever happened to them and the film they made. Well, now we know in a fascinating documentary about the power of film, friendship and all the mess in between. Enough snippets of the original film give us an idea of the finished product, along with outtakes that remind us these are still kids goofing off with a camera. The story picks up with the idea of filming the only scene they could not accomplish, the flying wing scene. Reminiscent of The King of Kong, it's a wonderful look into a specific period of time.… Expand
