In metascore I would rate this a 79. The movie has a good plot and the formula of the movie doesn't get stall. This movie ain't to enjoyable for adults but totally for pokemon fans.

If you're a hardcore fan, this is nonstop entertainment from start to finish. It you're not, most definitely give it a pass, for this is very, very weak.

This empty soulless film is only made to sell toys. And this is coming as a fan of the Pokemon series. The characters are great but they don't lend themselves to the big screen.
