It’s a mishmash in which characters are thrown from dimension to dimension and from dream to dream. The main character, played by Bannister, is forever baffled as to what his actual reality is. His bafflement is shared by the viewer. Read full review

Phantasm Ravager is simply the bottom of the barrel from the franchise. Not only because of the poor story and the cheap directing or special effects but also in every way possible. The worst of failing franchise. The first two films were above average 80s horror fun. The third and fourth films were below average and lacked cohesion over any overarching point for existing. It's just... sad. Everyone is way too old, the effects look horrible, even the fake blood is bad, and the story is more confusing than ever.

What a waste of time. As a child who grew up with campy movies in the 80's and 90's like Phantasm, it's a slap in the face what they did with the newest film. I can't understand why people insist on acquiring the rights to film for a franchise and then mess it up as badly as they do. TheWhat a waste of time.
